  1. That's simply a list of players who have been traded. We have no idea who's been made available for negotiation and what compensation was considered, whether that be Jimenez, Arenado, Goldschmidt or any other player.
  2. The problem isn't that they acquired players, it's the quality of player acquired. Canha and Santana are marginal upgrades who likely don't affect a playoff series. So instead of having the worst at each position, they'll have the 5th worst. Not exactly something to be excited about. It's completely understandable to be frustrated with the way the organization has approached this window of opportunity.
  3. Well, it wouldn't be a trade deadline if the Brewers didn't give up young, promising arms for mediocre MLB depth.
  4. It's also worth noting that Chourio is going oppo more than any other time in his career. Clearly this is a focus of his and the hitting instructors. Learning to stay back longer on pitches is something that takes time to get used to. And he's hitting lefties better than he did last year, so lot's of encouraging things going on, even if the numbers aren't eye popping yet.
  5. It doesn't look likely that both Bitoni and Pratt can be signed at $2 million a piece now. If picks 7, 8, 9 and 10 all sign for $100k each, Bitoni and Pratt will need to split around 3.6 million.

  7. Maybe it's prospect fatigue, but more bad than good in the early going of the minor league seasons. Super pumped for Carlos Rodriguez, Misiorowski and the future BP arms - Uribe (come back soon), Chirino, Andrews and Thompson. 1) Jackson Chourio 2) Sal Frelick 3) Tyler Black 4) Carlos Rodriguez (SP) 5) Jacob Misiorowski 6) Jeferson Quero 7) Abner Uribe 8) Robert Gasser 9) Freddy Zamora 10) Ethan Small 11) Matt Wood 12) Eric Brown Jr. 13) Justin Jarvis 14) Quinton Low 15) Daniel Guilarte 16) Noah Campbell 17) Tyler Woessner 18) Yeison Perez 19) Miguel Briceno 20) Harold Chirino
