  1. Not going to be hard to find a reason if the Brewers lose this one too.
  2. The base was stolen. Sanchez isn’t throwing out anyone that doesn’t have a piano on his back.
  3. They didn’t have their outfielder on the warning track.
  4. I would have rather had ball 3 than a bunt.
  5. Probably because Sanchez can’t catch it. At some point Contreras is going to have to cut back on the number of games he catches, and Sanchez is not a good backup. is Erik Kratz available?
  6. Yelich has the 4-3’s like he does when he’s in a slump.
  7. I don’t know of anyone saying that the offense is the problem. The question is whether the offense can maintain something resembling its early pace because it’s probably going to be necessary to support a pitching staff that doesn’t measure up to what the Brewers have had the last couple of years.
  8. Frelick really has a noodle arm. It’s hard to see where he would fit in a long term plan. A so so defender with a weak arm who doesn’t hit for power. Not what you look for in an outfielder.
  9. Lately I’m not sure any ballpark is a good place for Rea to pitch
  10. He’ll wish he was on the Serengeti eating spaghetti while we throw confetti.
  11. I didn't have any intention but to raise some facts and pose a question. With 4 1/2 months still left in the season I don't think 9 games provides an answer.
  12. I see the reactions to my comment, but I should say that I feel the same way about losing big blowout games like the ones against the Yankees. Losing 15-2 doesn’t bother me any more than losing 7-2 in a game that is never competitive Once the game gets out of hand what happens in garbage time isn’t that relevant to me.
  13. I have mixed feelings about that. It depends on how much he would cost, and what they could get for him, but I like him as a team leader.
  14. Two guys who will be shooting for a cycle in the 8th inning (if not before).
  15. If nothing else he has earned the right to play every day for awhile.
  16. Evidence is mounting that Perez has nothing today and was just being left out there to take one for the team since they don’t have the day off tomorrow. One of the reasons I don’t get overly excited about really high scoring blowout games. They often include several runs against the dregs of the bullpen, a pitcher left in to absorb punishment and, sometimes, a position player.
  17. Not likely. Kuenn’s strength was letting a team that was loaded with hitting talent just play ball. Murphy’s situation is quite different.
  18. With Dunn going down it looks like management agrees. I just hope they didn’t decide they need another OF because of concerns about Yelich. Might be that Chourio will be going down soon.
  19. The same guy who said anything can happen in one game. 😃
  20. Not much question who the Brewers ASG representative will be this year. Too bad he probably won’t be starting.
  21. Never thought I’d see an opposite field homer from Frelick.
