  1. Shaw with another bomb to add to his stellar first half. Man what a pick up he has been.
  2. He did in fact get hurt. That darn Braun cannot stay healthy. The next time he's back on the DL I say try to trade him to the AL so he can DH and get someone who is not so brittle. He got hurt running to first base.... Still gotta do that as a DH
  3. You've been watching something different than me all year...
  4. Late inning walks kill you about 99 percent of the time in close games
  5. Walk guys without much power and now face guys who can end the game with one swing.
  6. No, way inside. Batter jumped out of the box even. I had to rewind to check it out
  7. Walks by relievers might be the most annoying thing in baseball to me. Especially lead off
  8. Interesting to hear. I was too young to remember anything like that for him. Always learn something from brewerfan forums, lol.
  9. Would assume there has to be some connection to taking and then stopping steroids. Has to wreak havoc on your body.
  10. Fastball at 97 up and with some late run = you can sit down now!
  11. Because Thames should have an arm 2 feet longer? That throw wasn't anywhere near 1st base. Thames couldn't reach it. He should have gone after the ball and not let it leave the infield at least. Easy to say, but he has a tenth of a second to react and a base runner in the way. The throw can't be that bad period. No way that should be Thames error.
  12. Man, second straight at bat that Braun got robbed. Now a little gimpy going back to dugout.
  13. That a way Hughes!!! Way to get out of the inning. Ways to go yet, but keeps Suter in line for a win.
  14. Perfect time for an "at em" ball. Now get out of this inning...
  15. Because Thames should have an arm 2 feet longer? That throw wasn't anywhere near 1st base. Thames couldn't reach it.
  16. Wow, that hurts. Don't really see the need for the back to back pickoff attempts there.
  17. Sometimes it comes down to timing of who's spot in the rotation is closest to the day they need the fill in. Not sure if that was the case but Suter might have just pitched before they needed the fill in.
  18. Loved that AB with Suter vs Judge. It's like they were having a contest to see who could get ready first. Multiple pitches where Judge never broke his stance between pitches. TV broadcast said first 3 pitches of AB took 22 seconds.
  19. I'm ok with the platoon for now. Jesus numbers would probably come down slightly if he faced right handed pitching consistently. I would think they take advantage of the DH for the next two days and get them both in the lineup.
  20. baseball-reference.com will in their box scores. ESPN has it now, they didn't live. It was 30 pitches. That's a lot, but I thought it would actually be higher.
  21. What site has a box score that shows pitches seen? I know I've seen it before, but checked a handful of sites and can't find one. Was curious how many pitches Gardner saw. It had to be a ton.
