Nice start by Jimmy to get through 6 when he doesn't have his best stuff.
  2. wildcat83
    Braun needs to deliver here
  3. wildcat83
CC looking quite annoyed either with Villars lead or the 3 straight throw overs.
  4. wildcat83
That is not the norm. I always felt like when he missed time he came back hot for the first few games back.

I'm sure they've played in worse weather than today's. Did find the bullpen dance off to kill time. Assuming this was from yesterday. http://www.csnchicago.com/chicago-cubs/watch-cubs-brewers-have-dance-bullpen-during-rain-delay

There is no rain anywhere near Chicago right now. Any idea why it was postponed instead of just delayed and played this afternoon/night? Seems like being a day game they had plenty of time to get it in.

First base runner in 6 innings That base runner is Villar There's a lefty on the mound ... You see where I'm going with this righ....

Good grief, that was close to a broken face.

We are done next Thursday and head to Wisconsin on a redeye that night. Excited to maybe get to a game or two I'm also a teacher. We go till June 2nd.

should've went to bed in the 8th

People complain about our defense. There has been 4 times at least that the Padres have looked like an average little league team. Like head scratching bad.
  12. wildcat83
If Perez didn't swing at that it would've hit his foot... Ugly
  13. wildcat83
Nerd Power!!!!! What a call by CC to bat him second, lol. And I almost went to bed in the 8th.
  14. wildcat83
Looked like Villar alligator armed that one a little.
  15. wildcat83
Wow, what a play and throw. Perfect angle to cut it off and a laser to 2nd throwing off balance. Tip the cap to him on that play.
  16. wildcat83
There's that little league defense again. Tough play so not getting the catch is one thing, but can't end up with both defenders on the ground and the ball rolling away. Nice start to the inning for the Crew though, we'll take it

Gotta get something going here, probably the last half inning I'm staying awake for...
  18. wildcat83
"Probably wanted to get that down a bit" .... Come on Rock, saying belt high not an ideal location for a 0-2 fastball??
  19. wildcat83
Makes sense if Arcia is the last available bat. Probably the case considering Pina already pinch hit.
  20. wildcat83
Three walks Botched double play Botched run down ...no runs
  21. wildcat83
Padres look like a bad little league playing defense this inning. Standing and watching a run down is not a great idea if you are like the next closest defender.
  22. wildcat83
Second day off in a week for Arcia.

https://sports.yahoo.com/news/brewers-minor-leaguer-patiently-pulls-off-hidden-ball-trick-224002524.html Erceg pulls off hidden ball trick. Great job by camera man to stay with it.
  24. wildcat83
Pina now hitting .400 ..... In MAY.
  25. wildcat83
Usually how I feel too. Actually bet on Brewers today. Feeling good about Davies getting it turned around. Brewers in a pitchers duel, 2-1.
