On September 22nd, they lost to the Phillies 4-6…..they’ve lost ONE game since. If we win tonight and tomorrow we would end the season on a 19-2 run!

Hopefully we keep this cushion. Would be nice to get everyone in during the last 2 innings. Get an inning each from Senzatela and Harrison. Keep Woody and Drohan for tomorrow night’s bulk guys. Maybe Woody start and throw 1-2 and Drohan follow him.

If you pinch hit for the DH don’t you lose the DH? Wouldn’t Vaughn only get 1 AB? If so way too early.

I thought the same thing at times. I think the stadium isn’t always full of people that can pay 3K or more per ticket. I bet there are a lot of rowdy die hards that didn’t have that cash to pony up.

Feel bad for Patrick, who was really good last postseason. When healthy Woody has been effective though, so if he's needed, which isn't a for sure thing, I think he'll be ok to get through a lineup one time. I think there's also a pretty good chance that just like Patrick in the first 2 series, he never actually takes the mound.

I think this has more to do with getting Rasmussen matched up with someone that is not Misorowski. He's still available to throw the same number of times in the series, and they don't risk wasting a good start if Miz has a great one. I always liked this strategy if the opponent had a true ace. Throw a wildcard against their ace, and throw your ace against their number 2. They are probably viewing a split in Milwaukee as a victory overall. Martinez has pretty strong road splits as well, much better on the road than at home, and this gets Freddy away from starting in Milwaukee. There are a lot of positives from the TB point of view.

Yep, if Ashby got in any trouble Megill was ready. If you go to Megill and he gets in trouble there’s nobody left behind him. I was shocked Ashby pitched to right handers in the 9th but I can see the thought process I guess.
