How many posts in the SP thread this offseason had predicted Suter, Houser, Lauer, Perralta to start a four game stretch? Team has to find a way to tread water until they get healthy, but it's sure looking like an uphill battle right now.
I don't think the NFL can do conditional picks like the NBA does, or at least, I've never heard of it being done. That's oddly one of the biggest trade issues I see. If we trade Rodgers to a team for a package that includes their first round pick, it's probably not going to be a top 10 pick obviously. A team that wants to pay up for Rodgers is probably a deep playoff run type team, and you are picking in the late 20's
Is that your opinion or is that fact? Not sure how someone’s parent can be an opinion, lol. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/nfl/draft2021/story/_/id/31223048/nfl-draft-prospect-amari-rodgers-best-teacher-famous-dad%3fplatform=amp
Tom Brady's rant about the new jersey rules seems incredibly dumb to me. He's trying to say there will be "bad football" and "safety concerns" because they won't be able to identify the defenders. Really??? At the NFL level they won't know who is who because of them possibly wearing a wider range of numbers? It's not like they made it so they can switch jerseys in the huddle. If you put an ounce of time into the prep for the week I think you'd know the opponent no matter what number they wear.
I'm in two separate fantasy leagues, and I am at the 4 player DL limit in both leagues. I've got Juan Soto, Tim Anderson, Gavin Lux, Starling Marte on for position players, and looking like Acuna heading there too possibly. It seems like a league wide epidemic.
Umpire is part of the field when it comes to a batted or thrown live ball, but if an ump impedes a defensive player, the play is automatically dead. Every time someone gets a great jump the catcher can reach back and backhand the ump and it’s a dead ball? That’s some useful information to have right there, in more ways than one...
Suter had to pitch the 8th in a one run game facing 3 righties. Jace Peterson hit in the 9th down one with one on and 2 out. I don’t feel great about the depth of this team anymore.
Perdomo better than Yardley, and they still have Wahl, Black, Milner, Bickford, etc. If Williams gets right it will look a lot better, they got options to find guys to eat innings.
