    Late getting home, but really happy to see a kid with a multiple sport background. He was mocked almost exclusively higher than where we took him, not sure what’s not to like.

    Wong is probably the best defensive second baseman in baseball so its unfair to compare the two. Huh? It’s pretty fair to compare their abilities and say Wong gets us at least 3 extra outs in the past two weeks. I was in no way ripping on Peterson, more so pointing out what we’re missing with Wong out.

    Peterson has played way above expectations, but there have been 3-4 plays lately that Wong probably makes.

    Don’t see how you argue that call, you have to maintain contact with the base, he ended up 10 feet from it.

    I can’t help you if you don’t think Jace gets to 3rd on that. Absolute waste of time arguing back and forth. There’s no way, he has to wait to see if it’s caught. He has to scramble to second let alone third.

    Kind of surprised they didn’t pinch hit there. Lauer struggled to locate anything off speed. On a night he’s not exactly cruising, why not be happy with the solid 5 innings and take a shot there?

    It’s 2021, if you haven’t figured out streaming, then you probably haven’t tried to figure out streaming. I can almost garuntee you have the capability of watching the game on your TV without any delay.

    What are you basing the "easy choice" off of, out of curiosity. Freddy has been better in almost every stat category from old school stats to next gen stats. Wins, losses, ERA, Starts, CG, IP, SO, Opp Avg, R/9, WAR, R The only two things that Burns has done better are walks allowed and HR allowed. But even with his big lead in those two, they have an identical WHIP, and Freddy allows fewer runs per 9. Don't get me wrong, I think that Corbin is deserving, but I don't think he's clearly better than Freddy, especially as of late.

    There’s no way you start to play match up games with the rotation pre all star break. They will pitch on their scheduled days as they should.

    Struggling vs a soft tossing lefty, someone better call Braunie and see if he’s in game shape. Bet he could still knock Tyler Anderson around...

    Hopefully if he’s not 100 percent they don’t throw him out there game 1 though. Atlanta proved last night that if your not ready it can hurt your team. I think starting on the road takes pressure off of playing him in game 1. If your 0-2 and coming home your still in it. If you start the series in Milwaukee seems like there’s more pressure to defend home court.

    Burns next start is matched up with DeGrom. With the extra day rest though, I’m guessing we’ll have a “bullpen” game that night instead? Really sucks with it being a nationally televised game. Would love to see that matchup.
