Lucroy was sleeping in the clubhouse. Give him a break.

Yes, what is wrong with Braun? The thumb? The lack of "juice?" The lack of popularity he once enjoyed? Will he ever be as good as he once was?
-
I miss Carlos Gomez. Welcome back, Scooter. You should have never been demoted!
-
Ball don't lie ... Kolten Wong grounds out to end the game ... Brewers win! George Webb, get those free burgers ready!
-
I think the Brewers are on their way to a tremendous 3-month stretch for June, July, and August. September will be an epic battle for the wild card spot. The Brewers are on their way! The win today is a season-changer!
-
Yeah ... again Ramirez wastes on the bench ... while we have a slap-hitting bunter up there with 2 outs in the 9th against a hard-throwing closer. Not smart.
-
Was Counsell paying attention to facts/stats when he expects that Parra is the better option vs. Ramirez against a tough left-hander in a crucial situation in the 8th inning?
-
About as awful as Counsell not pinch-hitting Ramirez for Parra against the tough lefty reliever!
-
Why didn't Counsell pinch-hit Ramirez for Parra there against the lefty reliever? Braun could have went to RF since he just pinch-hit two batters ago?
-
Why is Elian Herrera in the major leagues instead of Scooter Gennett? Gennett gets sent to the minors after about 60 at-bats after hitting around .300 the last two seasons? What gives? This does not make sense.

Forgive Fiers for failing facing foe Frias

I like it ... let's go Brewers! Let's shock the world!
-
Any game thread for Sunday's game with Lohse pitching?
-
Good job, Brewers! We will have a true winning streak after tomorrow's game.

Are the Brewers truly a more talented team than the Pirates or Cardinals or even the Reds? If so, then go ahead and blame the players. I personally would blame the manager just as much or more than any of the players since he's the guy filling out the lineup card and insisting on putting in players in the lineup who are badly slumping (for example, Braun, Reynolds, and Segura). However, if they are not more talented than the Pirates or Cardinals or even the Reds, then Attanasio needs to look at himself and/or Melvin for the construction of the team. All said, nobody ever gives credit to the opponent(s) for simply being better much. Perhaps, the Cardinals and Pirates are simply better, period.

Roenicke needs gumption, period! Act like you care! Or send one of your coaches out to argue! Kranny can talk! Let him do it, at least! When your team is getting raw deals on the field from umps, Roenicke canNOT sit in the dugout with an "Oh, well" look on his face.
-
I heard that Bill Schroeder thought Mike Fiers beat out a grounder earlier in the game that the first base ump said Fiers was out on. The replay supposedly showed that Fiers was safe. Where was Roenicke's appeal there? It was missing ... again, there is just the "acceptance" of screwy calls from umps because Roenicke has no gumption.
-
It would show he has a pulse. It would show he cares. It would help to make umps accountable. It would show he cares about his player getting gypped. He looks weak. Matheney would have been out there barking had the situation been reversed, guaranteed. No fire in the leader of the team ... not good! Common sense, man!

Roenicke has no gumption!
-
Why isn't Roenicke out there barking at the umpire for the ridiculous petty calls the home plate umpire called on Braun?
-
I'd rather see Davis in the lineup than Braun at this point.
-
That pitch called strike 3 to Braun was not a strike. Give me a break.
-
How about a "We were by far the best in April 2014" banner?!?!? The rest of the season we've been less than mediocre.
-
We have to platoon in RF: Parra against righties, Braun against lefties. We have to platoon at 1B: Overbay against all righties, Lucroy against lefties with Maldonado catching. We have to bench Segura outright until Herrera begins to look like Segura II.
-
We get it. Unless Roenicke is part of the "we," it won't matter!
