  1. When you look at the extensive IL it is unreal how this team just finds ways to win with all of these guys plugged in. If we start to hit consistently watch out!
  2. Someone said it earlier in this thread but Hiura has to go down and try to fix this funk he is in.
  3. No kidding. Why would you swing at a pitch from a guy who can't find the plate? Most of the time when you do that you are doing the pitcher a favor. smh
  4. We might have to get Rock out of the booth.
  5. As someone here mentioned in yesterday's game thread - Diaz shouldn't have been running to first base on the grass. If the catcher throws the ball towards first base and Diaz gets hit in the back he is out!
  6. I think they have a shot at being a playoff team. They aint bad at all. Be thankful you didn't have to listen to their announcers in this series. Those clowns were pretty bad. You would have thought the Marlins had one the World Series. smh
  7. Not having those big bats and gloves in the lineups in SD makes this sweep even better.
  8. I got my second Pfizer on Tuesday. I felt weird that night and my arm is sore but I'm a a little better today. Hubby was running a slight fever yesterday but not today.
  9. If we were scoring runs with our starting pitching this thread wouldn't be necessary. It is hard to win games when you can't score.
  10. I'd agree with this, CC is solid but unspectacular. And he's not in a situation like Dave Roberts to look like a genius no matter who starts, as his 26th man probably starts on 2/3 of mlb rosters and his 3rd best reliever would close for 2/3 of teams. Just remember, before CC we had Yost, Macha, Runnin Ron, and Sveum. CC is head and shoulders better than any of them at his job in my opinion. And Yost went on to get carried to a WS title by probably one of the best bullpens of all time. A trash team can make a great manager look terrible, and a WS caliber team can make Yost look like a genius. This.
  11. We all said the same last year....and it ended up sucking pretty bad all year. Hopefully this year is not a repeat of that. This does feel like Groundhog Day. This bunch still cannot get the crucial hit with runners in scoring position.
  12. If they move it to Tampa and stadiums can be at full capacity by then it would be one of the very few times that stadium is full. The only time folks flock to that place is when the Rays are playing the Yankees or Red Sox.
  13. We have Comcast down here so one of the good things about Bally over Fox is with MLB Extra Innings those of us out of the WI market can now watch the Crew's announcers. In the past we were stuck with the announcers of the home team when the Brewers were on the road.
  14. Hiura looked pretty good over at 1st.
  15. From everything I've been reading about this season's predictions most of the "experts" don't think the Cubs are gonna be very good this year. It brings a tear to my eye.
