I won't complain too much if theyre being consistent but batters have to feel a bit frustrated tonight. The facial expression by that Rays' batter after the first base ump called that a strike said it all!
I live in FL so I'd love it if the Brewers' spring training moved to FL. Come to SW Florida and join Boston and the Twins. This. But be prepared for the backlash on here. You know it rains sometimes in Florida and the parks are so far apart. :eyeroll: It doesn't rain much down there until well after ST is over. During the winter it is like a desert in SW Florida where I live.
Garza has had a pretty good season this year. Our pitching outside of a couple of games this year has been better than I thought it would be. If we could only figure out how to hit again...
The Rays will be lucky to get that many fans this weekend. I'd wager the reason why they don't get fans to attend is most of the people down there come from someplace else - up north - and bring their home town team allegiances with them. When Tampa plays Boston or the Yankees those fans show up in droves especially early and late in the season when the snowbirds are around.
Get to that bullpen early! Let's see if the Crew can add on runs. The inability to add on runs past the first couple of innings is the main culprit to our struggles since the All Star Break.
Pugger is female, I think. So in that context the statement becomes a lot less scandalous. Yes, I'm female. I guess if you didn't know that my post would look scandalous.
My girlfriend and her hubby were there today. Until our team is good consistently I won't go to a Brewer/Cub game at Miller Park for all the tea in China.
