    I'm glad we are out of Pittsburgh. I got weary of listening to Lurch play the harpsichord for 4 days...

    One good thing with this change is those of us outside the Packers' home market we might be able to listen to the radio broadcasts and mute the TV during nationally broadcast games. I'm glad Bally is broadcasting 155 Brewers games. I can get them down here via MLB Extra Innings thru Xfinity.

    I can't get Bally Sports Wisconsin down here on local cable. The 2 Bally channels here cover the Rays and Marlins and their ST games are played here in FL. Once the regular season starts we can order MLB Extra Innings and then we can get all the games aired on Bally Sports Wisconsin.

    I have been unable to watch and/or listen to any of the first few ST games down here in FL. All I see is final scores. To those of you who have been able to see the guys play how do they look? Other than Freddy should we be concerned about the rotation? I hope the MLB Network shows a game or 2 of ours this spring.

    If he most likely won't be pitching until 2025 and he is on the wrong side of 30 I can see why other teams are not interested.

    Those of us outside of Wisconsin have been paying extra to get Brewers games for a while now.

    We were one of those who didn't get Peacock for that one playoff game. We probably would have if it was for the Packers. We did get Prime but dropped it after the regular season was done. Ordering just Prime alone is a pain. For several years we got almost every Brewers game down here in FL via MFL Extra Innings for about $120 with Xfinity even before Bally. We figured it was worth it when you consider what it would cost to go to a game live. I sure hope we can do it again with Amazon. We purchased the NBA package for $80 for the Bucks.

    No, the reason this franchise will never win a World Series is this league's financial inequity. We can draft and develop until the cows come home but can't keep most of them long term.

    You're right, he did look like he agonized over everything during the games and was very monotone during post game PCs hemming and hawing all the time. It will be interesting to see how Murphy is.

    Perhaps folks are wondering if Weeks isn't being groomed to be the manager down the road and this is what is making some nervous?

    If memory serves most here were excited/pleased with hiring CC back then. I was pretty ambivalent. He just seemed way to laid back to me (he still is IMO).

    I wanted a fresh face too. I thought a guy coming in from a successful operation elsewhere could jump start the team and add a new prospective and attitude to the place. Let's hope the guys respond to Murphy like they seemed to with CC.

    I don't think his clubhouse leadership is something to dismiss either.

    This tells me we are not looking outside the organization. IMO this is a mistake. I hope I'm wrong...

    I really want MA to get someone from outside the organization. New blood and a fresh approach would do wonders for this team.

    Of course. But it was time to move on. Some of his managerial decisions over the years had left me scratching my head a lot.
