Villar isn't going to get them a 4 time All Star still in his prime and relatively cheap. Be real. Villar and Broxton won't either. Never said it would, but if they are really looking at cutting cost, I would give them Villar plus two of the following - Diaz/Lutz/Supak/Ponce

All in on Castro if it just cost Villar. Castro is under contract for two more years, puts no pressure on Brewers bringing up Hiura too early

in 2016, Norris looked good and had a 3.93 FIP Would trade Ray straight up for him and not think twice.

Whats concerning about Duffy is his average FB was 2 MPH slower last year than in 2016 and while his FIP was good ( 3.46), his xFIP was almost a full run higher (4.39) I view Duffy as a good #3 starter. One website that i use and is really good has him as the 40th best SP next year.

Maybe if Reds include Gennett in the deal and take Villar. Seriously, do you really want to help a division rival down the road by overpaying for a relief pitcher? Bad enough that they have Cubs and Cardinals to contend with for the foreseeable future. Who said anything about over paying - I would give up something good( as he is entering him prime and under control for until 2021, but not great Iglesias would be out 2nd best RP if we got him

Like Yelich, but would want to pair him Santana, not trade Santana for him. Santana, currently has more value than Yelich because of the $$$$

Yelich will cost a lot more than Broxton... Yelich will cost Phillips and two of the Brewers top 10 prospects.

Would people change their mind about Archer if Nelson was starting the season? Nelson/Archer/Anderson/Davies/Hader looks a lot better than Archer/Anderson/Davies/Hader/Woodruff

At the time of the Gomez AND Fiers trade ( Dont forget Mike Fiers) - We traded for the #39(Phillips) and #84(Santana) prospects - Hader and Houser weren't even top 100

NO thanks! Trading Harrison in any package that does not get us an ACE is a silly proposition imo...I am not on the Archer or Cobb train, they just aren't going to be difference makers, in that they can get us over the hump to a playoff appearance. Trading away our future for either guy is just not smart. Not sure if your serious - Our Future OF is stacked and Monte is still #5 on the OF list. Archer is a #2 guy

Im trying to think why the Rays would want Arcia? They have Willy Adames waiting to take over at SS and Wander Franco, who was the top internation prospect at SS also.
