  1. It’s a meh for meh trade. Nothing to get worked up about either way. No ones going to give us Cecil Cooper for Corey Ray so why not roll the dice on Rowdy?
  2. In looking up Bickford I noticed Jimmy Nelson is also pitching well for the Dodgers
  3. Peralta has been incredible. He is becoming must watch TV and I was no fan of him and his 100 pitch 4 inning efforts but the man is on fire
  4. Update on Hiura: 1-30 / 16Ks/ 2 BBs Update on Yelich: 8-42 / 18Ks / 9 BBs / 1 HR / 4 RBIs You forgot to calculate Hiura's OPS for me, so how can I know if that is a good or bad stat line? I legitimately did a spit take. Well played.
  5. Having three great starters sure makes these match ups more fun. The schedule us a heck of a chance to move up. Let’s hope the offense can get it going.
  6. Was Myers even trying? Wow that guy can’t play the OF at all. Glad to take it and JBJ really needed this. Hopefully it gets him rolling.
  7. He was supposed to be a Molitor comp. The worst thing to happen to him was his 19 HRs as a rookie. They needs to get back to being a line drive hitter, not a 3TO which is now a 1TO player.
  8. Is this true? I hadn’t heard that.
  9. Launch angle and the 3TO hitter has ruined the game. Get back to playing baseball and focusing only on baseball and the game will rebound.
  10. This nets us a former top prospect with some badly needed pop and he is an upgrade on D over Urias This trade was necessary because the last few moves left us without a SS
  11. As he should be. No one should be expecting much, but the guy was a bang bang play from getting out of the first against the Dodgers. He really unraveled after that. Let’s hope he gets his confidence back in the minors.
  12. Unfortunately, thats what happens when you dumpster dive every year to fill key positions. The Brewers aren’t going to be in the top line FA market. Arguably no team should but that’s another subject. It all comes down to not drafting/developing well because we can’t fill these holes internally and no one is giving us a Trout in exchange for their pick of a bottom 5 ranked farm system. He tried to pick up a long time piece in the Urias deal, he just didn’t understand what he was getting and what he was giving up.
  13. I hope this is in blue. Please tell me this is in blue
  14. He made great trades for Yelich, Shaw, and Freddy off the top of my head. The rest were meh to negative. His FA signings were just ok but that’s what everyone does in FA as it’s usually scrap heap guys and fools gold. The issue with him is he hasn’t drafted well which has caused the farm to really suffer under his watch. For a team with a limited payroll that is really tough to sustain a quality team.
  15. I’m still a believer that RBIs matter. I’ll be the first to point out issues with this team, but let’s give Shaw some credit that he is doing what we expected.
  16. I don’t get the love for Freddy. As a starter he is a bullpen killer. As a reliever he is a roll of the dice. He seems like a lot more value as a trade chip than an every fifth day starter.
  17. Is there anything at all to the Yelich pitch stealing accusations? Or has he not recovered from the kneecap injury? Hiura is simply missing pitches right down the middle at 90 mph so I have no idea what to say there. No hitting coach in the world can help that.
  18. The Brewers don’t have an offense built to score 5 runs. I’m not sure what this offense was supposed to do as constructed other than rely 100% on Hiura and Yelich ?
  19. He is likable fellow but he has no business being a key pitcher in the play offs. I actually felt bad for him more than angry. He just isn’t a good pitcher and shouldn’t be out there.
  20. 410 plate appearances in the MLB. Clearly the guy can’t hit. I don’t know about panic because it wasn’t like he was some hitting machine to begin with.
  21. Well this trade is, uh, wow. 3.1 bwar to -0.5 bawr
  22. I’m assuming this in blue with the current format
  23. The elephant in the room is the dynamics of the season makings judging the performance of the team moot. Clearly the team is focused on non baseball issues much like the Bucks. This season is a mulligan and we can figure this out next year.
  24. Sports is committing suicide. Can we at least wait for the facts to come out in the outrage du jour, or do we have to pick sides immediately and virtue signal? Sports brings people together. I don’t know what most of your political leanings are, nor do I care. It’s all about the Brewers. But this is 2020 and we aren’t allowed to enjoy anything.
