  1. I drafted Mattison in like the last round. He has been huge over and over again when Cook was out. Huge help for me, no I just need Tyrol Hill to get back for whenever the Chiefs end up playing.

    Pizza

You can do other things in it...but it is just kind of dumb. An oven or normal grill...both of which are 10x easier to use can do it better in 99% of cases or just as well. Every time I see a post about doing a steak in it I just shake my head, some people really try to rationalize it as more than a pizza oven by making life more difficult.

    Pizza

Very nice! I assume you have it on a patio or something? I want one of those at some point in my life. I have an old model that does charcoal/wood (and can get a propane attachment). Charcoal and wood is fun to play around with…but propane is probably a no brainer if you need to churn out quite a few pizzas or like simplicity. It is kind of an art to use. It takes awhile to figure out a good dough recipe, figure out how to do the temp right, figure out how to dry out cheese, figure out how to get the pizza in and out. If you like Neapolitan pizza it is incredible. I have made pizza that rivals even the fanciest Italian restaurant I have ever gone to. If you don’t like Neapolitan pizza these little pizza ovens don’t really make much sense. You can mess around and make Detroit style etc. in it…but just use your normal oven at that point. I bought mine when it was $300 for the Karu 12…or course COVID related issues have skyrocketed the price to $400.
  4. I like it if they would pretty much won the game…but Rodgers still had 42 seconds. That’s a massive amount of risk to still be in an iffy situation. I think I would have forced the Packers to get a field goal in 42 seconds with just a timeout.
  5. This Huntley guy still has to make a game tying drive.
  6. Fail by the center not snapping the ball when the Ravems guy was hopping around offsides.
  7. I have to wonder, if he jumps up with two hands, does he get the PI? The Ravens guy didn’t even know where the ball was.
  8. I really don’t think the Mets want Stearns as bad as some make it. If they wanted him that bad and thought Stearns would jump ship for them they would just let some guy do it for one year that has no problem getting ousted 12 months later Stearns is great, but he isn’t some kind of unicorn. There are lots of great GMs and there are many more potential great GMs out there. As great as Stearns is it isn’t worth tripping over yourself for years hoping he MAY come. You move on and go a different direction.
  9. Why are you even able to challenge if they had an extra guy on the field or not? Out of all flags or plays that can be challenged…that is what the NFL decides? If a guy was a step onto the field?
  10. I mean, wouldn’t shock me if we see the price go up here soon for YTTV
  11. It’s garbage dates that don’t sell out and a game you were almost surely never even going to consider buying tickets for anyway (maybe some did…but nearly everyone probably didn’t). It’s not appreciation, it is just trying to get people to attend in the stadium and spend money on April/May weekday games.
  12. So the game isn’t a half hour longer.
  13. I checked into cable just for fun, once again, the intro price seems decent…until 3-4 boxes/plus DVR and then it is just LOL. I wish there was a cheap streaming option for the local channels (Fox/ABC/CBS) and then I can easily mooch off someone for ESPN and FS Wisconsin.
  14. Thank god they won after that disgraceful overturn of the winning point. The second angle had clear as day space between the fingers and ball. Unbelievable they quite quickly overturned and blew that call. Glad they could then celebrate and not have it ruined over a challenge.
  15. Pit Bulls can be good dogs, but obviously they are much more prone and risky to snap. Of course German Shepards/Huskys are just as dangerous, but obviously they tend to be owned by people who train them properly. Buying a pit second hand is risky business. The worst part about that specific story is the fact they bought a dog that was abused in the past and they have young kids. Not only that, but it was stated it already had shown aggressive behavior in their house. To have a dog with that aggression and history in a house with small kids is simply negligent.
  16. Okay, I retract my last statement....I need ESPN for Kansas Basketball. Does ESPN+ let you watch all of ESPN...the the main channel and stuff? If so, then still a net win money wise.
  17. Isn't there an ATT one or something....though that and Direct TV are basically just cablebox-less cable.
  18. I will take the extra $15 a month.

    Pizza

Just had Lou Malnati's, and I actually like Rockys a lot more. I get it's unique, but I get a huge craving for it every few months. Extra cheezy super-rony and side of breadsticks? Yes please. I really like Lou Malnati's thin crust It certainly gets overshadowed by the deep dish (which I think is overrated anyway). I always ordered that because I am not really a deep dish person...always offended my Chicago 'burb friends. That being said, if I remember right, it was really expensive. Like pushing almost $20 for a one topping large.

    Pizza

I also decided to try a pothole pizza. I went with the pepperoni, wife went for the supreme one. The pepperoni one honestly reminded me of making a homemade pizza with one of those pre-made pizza crusts you can get in the bag at the store. The sauce was also very basic and thick/pasty like a generic pizza sauce is. The cheese blend was really solid, as long as you like a garlicy cheese. It was thick, but wasn't like a Lottza Mottza that it is difficult to even bite without everything wanting to come of the crust. The supreme was actually pretty good too...though a bit spicy. The supreme had the sausage and I thought that was pretty good. However, the mushrooms were by far the most disgusting mushrooms (in any instance...pizza or not) that I have ever had in my life. The taste was horrid and the texture honestly made me want to gag and I like mushrooms. They honestly tasted like they sat in soapy dishwater and then got thrown on the pizza. For $4 it was a good pizza and probably hangs there with the $8 range frozen pizzas in general for the typical pizza lover. That being said, probably too greasy for me to buy again. Maybe on hand for a grease bomb when drinking one night. For similar taste I could just do the homemade one I mentioned earlier and have about 80% less grease.
  21. I accidently started Alexander Mattison, TJ Hock, and at 5:30 PM I had DJ Henderson in my line up. The later I moved out for Christian Kirk. Chubb/Hill didn't even score 20 combined. Whoopsie, but still on pace for nearly 130 points thanks to KC D and Adams/Rodgers. I have been so busy on Sundays and messed up earlier in the season costing a win. Now instead of the #2 seed with a bye I am the #4 no bye.
  22. It certainly does happen where they will throw someone out for this...even before an interview. They either assume you are going to ask for too much or they are worried you won't stay around for long.
  23. Unfortunately for quite a bit of Wisconsin Charter is your only real option...heck some probably wish they had Charter...but even that isn't an option. TDS is moving into more and more areas, but their customer service has got to be 10x worse, especially if the service isn't already hooked up to your house (or even worse the community is in process of getting it) and you are the one dealing with that.
  24. When I moved I decided to pick up the modem thing in the store the day before because they wouldn't ship it to a different address before hand. I stood there for over an hour and there were only like five people in front of me...literally all I was doing was picking the stupid thing up. Most of the time 2/3 employees were sitting on the computer helping no one. Some lady wanted to pay her bill and the only way to do it in person was some kiosk thing that wouldn't work. She said she was in there for over two hours and they basically shrugged and said, "idk, try again tomorrow, hopefully it is working then." Though one time I had to call them when setting up cell phone service and they were actually pretty nice/helpful...took like 10 minutes. I must have got the one decent employee they have.
  25. Yah...unlikely. When does the consumer ever really benefit.
