I dunno how much this matters as a low seed playing WC weekend. You're going into a gauntlet for a month regardless. But, yeah, I'd rather play Cincy. I never understood this mentality unless it meant getting a home game. So yay you got to round 2 and lost? The goal is to win the whole thing and eventually, you'll have to go through the good teams. For a team like the Raiders, I think winning a game and then losing is a big deal for them. The Packers, Chiefs, Bucs? Of course not. Sure, the goal is to win it all, but for teams that have little success for a long time making the postseason and winning even a single game can be huge. Yah, you will have to face a good team eventually...but the Raiders got absolutely curb stomped by the Chiefs twice. I mean, how does that not matter? Pretty sure the Raiders and their fans would prefer to play any other team in football by a wide margin. As a low seed you just hope the higher gets knocked off before you get to them. I mean they could get to the Super Bowl and never play a #1 or #2.
