  1. The Brewers aren’t that bad. The offense wasn’t good, but it hit a really rough funk at the worst time. And no…it wasn’t just because we suddenly faced postseason pitching. We were better than the Braves…but the postseason isn’t just about being better. It takes timing, luck, and a lot of other things.
  2. Honestly just a very forgettable season. It just never quite felt magical. Once the excitement of closing out the divisional came we started imploding and looked embarrassing. While I was never that worried of the Cardinals catching us, it was embarrassing it ever became a topic of conversation to be needed. It felt like the divisional race was kind of weak behind us anyway and once we limped to the title it was somewhat “meh”. While we celebrated punching walls, the concern over our recent performance became larger. Then of course that dismal offense continued when the calendar flipped into October. Any loss in the NLDS would have felt disappointing to me, but to have pathetic managerial decisions and brutally pathetic offense do us in made it all the worse. Not only did we lose into the NLDS, but it really was not that enjoyable to watch for 90% of it. What a bummer to watch championship pitching totally wasted. Time for Stearns to get a real offense that can get us to a World Series. This wasn’t it. I’m not dreaming of an NLDS appearance. I want to see a World Series now. I could just punch a wall right now.
  3. We got plenty of ball/strike calls to go our way. The reason no one notices is A) bias and B) all the calls against us often involved us getting out/struck out because our hitters were pathetic and that happened 70% of the time anyway. Let’s also not underestimate how MASSIVE that bad catch call for Urias was and the utter luck the MLB rule book is dumb enough to not allow it to be reviewed. If that is called correctly we probably implode in that inning.
  4. Alright man, think how you want. . I watched the game, the on screen pitch track, and the MLB.com pitch track. Every pitch. Clearly you are upset about the game and rational non bias thoughts are not in your favor right now. Have a nice night, see you in the off season discussion threads.
  5. Go back through the GameDay. A few of the ones we were “screwed on” were strikes. People fail to realize ANY sliver of the ball over the plate is a strike. Additionally, we got MANY strike/ball calls in our favors. Umps sucked, but it went both ways. Our hitters just sucked and the end results of ABs never seemed to benefit us. Um, wut. Did you actually watch the game? Yup! Honestly, go through the GameDay on the MLB website. We got plenty of calls in our favor.

  7. NO MORE WATCHING THE 2021 BREWERS OFFENSE!!

  9. If they were going to do that before, no way are they doing it now that they are losing. They never were. Pretty sure that was Hader’s one and only inning regardless of result.
  10. Of course they will pitch Hader multiple innings in the postseason, especially with an off day tomorrow and the end of our season on the line. I mean how do you not. If you lose at the hands of Hader, is what it is.
  11. If we get the lead here Josh Hader will 1000% be pitching for two innings. Pretty confident.
  12. I really would be tempted to turn the game off. At least while pitching. I can’t watch a walk off to end the season.
  13. That's my suspicion too. Unlikely. You don’t go from MVP two years (basically) to a pile of trash worse than you were prior to becoming an MVP because you stopped being tipped on pitches. Even if you know the pitch you still have to hit it well. Even if he was getting pitches tipped you can’t tip anywhere near every pitch. Just know way you can become that good under those circumstances.
  14. agreed. If Woodruff is ready, get him in there now! Save him. Once he comes in that’s it, doubt they sit him and then bring him in another inning.
