  1. It’s going to be real hard for him to not do it. Two more in May and he would only need to average 7 a month after that (well 7,7,7,8 is essentially what he would need) If he doesn’t he will get darn close unless he reverts back to pre breakout power.
  2. Chacin has been effective outside of two starts, both of which are pretty far in the rear view mirror. I guess his last wasn’t that great, but hardly a disaster. Anderson will be back in the rotation soon enough. I don’t think there is any chance he would take Chacin’s spot.
  3. Just stop guys. You can’t say anything that isn’t positive about Hiura. It doesn’t matter if he has truly been behind fastballs worse than a bullpen arm trying to bat. You will automatically be assumed to hate Hiura, wishing him to fail, or overreacting. Hiura has been pretty bad so far and has been painfully behind fastballs all too often. Facts if you want to like it or not. That being said no one said it was any prediction of the future. I’d fling fastballs all day long at him too until he actually starts hitting them consistently.
  4. Maybe nothing can be done to avoid it, but man the same matchup 4 years in a row and one of those teams will make it to five straight? Possibly winning 4/5? Everyone complains about competitive balance...NBA is literally the worst sport product there is for competitive balance. Not to mention they also have to combat tanking for draft picks with some horrid lottery system. I enjoy NCAAB so much, but man...tough to watch the NBA. This maybe be the Bucks one good shot in our lifetimes and our kids lifetime.
  5. Wow, so much talk about Hiura staying when Shaw is healthy (hypothetically) and it seems the real question is can he even make it that long without getting sent down for playing so poorly.
  6. Would be great if the Bucks could win. Looking at past champions I am kindly reminded why my interest in the NBA is so little. 8 teams have won it since 1983...8. In comparison the NFL has seen 8 different teams win in the last 10-11 years and the MLB has seen 8 in the last 10-11 years. Would be nice if the Bucks could do something so improbable, especially in this super team era where players just team up. If not it will just be another reminder why the NBA sucks.
  7. Total meatball. Why even make him throw? Just set up the tee next time.
  8. Usually we are on the wrong end of this kind of thing.
  9. That was a gift, Keston has been pretty awful outside of his first game. Sadly
  10. Hey Cain, I was coaching 10U baseball today...they throw better than you.
  11. Thought Davies was going to fall asleep during that interview. So awkward. “Who is the best golfer on the team?” So original.
  12. Aguilar swings at terrible pitch inside. Hiura swings a pool noodle. Annnnnnnd no runs will be scored. Nice job guys.
  13. uhh…...what? It was to the one that you quoted. So tiresome that some need to rush on here when something fits their agenda and try to make snide comments. This place sucks as of late. Don’t worry a double digit day old Braun thread got dug up too. That is the weeks theme on the forum it seems. Just wait till Nelson comes back and struggles or does well.
  14. uhh…...what?
  15. I find this funny just because I felt the second his bat started turning around his defense tanked, at least regarding errors. Probably just a coincidence though.
  16. Giphy has a copy link button...use that. Should look like this: https://media.giphy.com/media/26ybwvTX4DTkwst6U/giphy.gif Then just use the "Img" button on the forum and put it in there.
  17. Good no challenge. We need 3 feet to get a replay to go our way.
  18. Meh, he could have ran through on the left...but only in retrospect is that easy to say. Good choice not to risk that disaster collusion that could have been.
  19. Travis Shaw was the #10 3B per Fangraphs the last two years combined. If you want just the NL #6 last two years, #5 in 2018, #5 in 2017...offensively. Overall is comparable as Fangraphs doesn't give much for defense to anyone. 1 Jose Ramirez Indians 87.5 2 Alex Bregman Astros 69.6 3 Anthony Rendon Nationals 67.6 4 Kris Bryant Cubs 58.1 5 Matt Carpenter Cardinals 52.0 6 Nolan Arenado Rockies 51.6 7 Nicholas Castellanos Tigers 35.7 8 Eugenio Suarez Reds 33.9 9 Manny Machado 33.1 10 Travis Shaw Brewers 27.7 ... ….A few country miles.... ... 11 Eduardo Escobar 11.7 12 Derek Dietrich Marlins 8.0 13 Mike Moustakas 6.7 There have been only 13 qualifying 3B the last two years combined to be positive offensively. Everyone else that started the last two years was negative. Travis Shaw has been really good...
