Uhh Bill. Moustakas can’t make an easy throw to first. Let’s not try to have him make a awful throw to first in hopes they call interference....come on man.

So what happens when Moustakas is a total trash heap defensively? Do they eventually move Shaw there and stick him at third? I’m sure there is some analytical reason have Moose at second....but I will wait to see it with my eyes

Oh I am sure that trade will look horrendous at face value in the future. But realistically we had nowhere to put him. They made the mistake not trading him prior to last year when I can bet the farm the offers were notably better. We backed ourselves into a corner. He couldn’t have really been the 4th OFer. So unless we were going to have him as a random bench bat that was going to be a drag as far as defense goes (for a bench guy) it wasn’t going to happen.

Because he didnt play it off the wall? Yup, he wasn’t very close to catching that and should have slowed up. Instead he just sprinted past it like the play was over if he couldn’t catch it. Not very Cain-like to say the least.

I'm still baffled that they didn't just stick with Shaw at 2nd, where he was at least not awful and could make a turn, and instead put Moose there. Yah, Shaw was fine. Moustakas was miserable on that play and that isn’t a hard play or throw. Hope he gets comfortable fast because his bat isn’t even that good if he gives us trash defense.

Was t really a fan of giving him a rotation spot. He is a thrower not a pitcher. Just chucks it and hope it ends up in a good spot. Hope he proves me wrong, but he is the one I am least optimistic about.

Absolutely terrible defense. First Moustakas and now Cain. That run scored because of Cain.

Going to be a looooong day. Freddy has shown absolutely nothing other than being a dumpster fire.

I would love to know how many tickets were sold after yesterday's game. Probably the most hyped opening day in a generation after a stellar season and they won in the most 2018 Brewer ways. If you weren't hyped before I can't imagine how you aren't now.

I fully expect to get absolutely slammed today, because I don't think any other team bends over as much as us on Opening Day.
