I get concerned when it gets up to about 35. Really anything over 30.

Once again Miley failing to finish them off in the 5th really killed us. If Knebel got to pitch the 6th instead I bet they would pull him in that situation. It’s that extra inning the bullpen has to cover that really complicated things more.

Just because they can doesn’t mean you want that. Tired Hader is pretty bad. I don’t want to see that if we don’t have to. Risky business. I wonder how tired he would be. Game 7 with a chance to go to the WS. The adrenaline would be off the charts! Who knows, it’s all a big crapshoot and risky this time of year. Hard to know how guys will fair in unfamiliar territory.

They won’t because putting them in the rotation kills the elite multi inning pen arm stack we have. Not only that, but our utter abuse of pulling starters early didn’t really get execessive until September and the postseason.

I like Soria, Burnes, Hader, Jeffress all throwing 1 so they can still go tomorrow. I doubt that happens though. Problem with that is what happens when you pull a guy who is doing good and the next one sucks? You almost have to go with the hot hand if they are on.

I'd guess everyone they want for tomorrow is going to stick to one inning. Problem is you gotta make sure you play tomorrow. Miley blowing up in the 5th inning really screwed up saving guys.

I know he has had his fair share of big plays, but man Machado has had some dud ABs for the Dodgers.

It helps we got a nice lead. If that Dodgers lead stuck it would have been clinch this clinch that Boston this Boston that blah blah blah. I have only watched the last few games but I feel like they gush over everyone. They have been Madden for Favre level love for the Brewers bullpen, Yelich and the bottom of the Brewers order. They also let Machado have it for running into Aguilar That is just the reality of it. That is today’s big storyline if they can clinch. If we win it is just another day to play.

The key is avoid using Hader, it would be nice to avoid Burnes, but I just don’t see it. After 4 max you pull Miley and Burnes can get your through 6 (hopefully). Everyone else can pitch one inning no problem.

If anyone at the game wants to give bullpen updates that’d be cool. Cause they hardly ever do it on TV.

He has to go at least 4...you don’t want anyone pitching 2+ innings. Really you don’t want elite guys pitching at all.
