  1. You know with such a heart jerking story like that it sounds like you would actually want to attend those games after all the suffering...instead of selling them for a paycheck.
  2. You will want those SRO tickets listed before the game ends tomorrow. Probably close to the minimum price. All the idiots freak out the second they win a big game and go buy tickets before the players leave the field. I understand Game 7 is going to be HUGE if it happens, but I don’t think tickets will start rising. There won’t be much of a time gap between excitement starting and panic of selling the tickets before Gametime. Maybe people surprise me, but I have some SRO and I will just list them tomorrow.I think right after the game will be the peak.
  3. Full season you can, partial season you can’t for obvious reasons.
  4. Unfortunately this doesn't happen often and they decided to use it as a test for a variety of things. Thankfully the next 3 years or so should go a lot smother.
  5. Just like all other SSH benefits they are intended for loyal fans not people trying to make a quick buck. Not sure if they actually will, but they threaten to revoke your benefits if you sell too many of your season tickets. In my opinion these pre sales are a perk/benefit. If all you are doing is selling them then you don't deserve the benefit of buying extra tickets through a pre sale.
  6. Brewers were out to make a statement on reselling in my opinion. Someone decided the middle finger was the way to go.
  7. I'm either going with game 4 or 5. I don't know that I'd want my upgraded seats to be to the 4th game of a 4 game sweep anyways...so if game 5 doesn't get played I'll probably be happy to just get my money back. I'm definitely going to all games, but 2 will likely be those last row loge seats. I would want to be as close as possible in Game 4. Might get hit by the champagne from Brent Suter.
  8. Exactly. I would do exactly the same. Why fault SSH who opt to sell and buy again when you originally gave them crud seats? How does that even happen honestly. And once again agreed. Why are we blaming people who bought tickets when the dates weren't even known let alone the time of day. I guess at some point you look at it and say, "Okay odds are the WS game times won't work for them either because they keep selling their tickets." I had all the intentions to make a NLDS game #1 or #2. I had to buy tickets for both hoping and expecting one time would work. I was pretty bummed when I had to sell them, not really happy even if I made a profit.
  9. I have always believed SSH should get an option to buy their strip plus one additional for every seat they hold up to like 4-6 max. Then these accounts should no longer be eligible for getting tickets outside of general public sales. Give them their chance to get additional tickets upfront, not 4 more times. They should also probably get some opportunity to get better seats with their strip instead of saying their strip is in the Terrace while the presales are loaded with field level etc. Anyone who opted not to get their strip should get their 4 per game rule up until the World Series. This is where it should change to 2 per game unless you sold 50% or more of your tickets...at which point, yes, you should be locked out. There has to be a better way than it is now. You deserve to be locked out if you are selling a bunch of tickets frequently, but at this same time the strip is garbage when all it does is give trash seating options (thus people selling and then upgrading in other presales). That should not be happening in my opinion. Give the SSH good options to begin with when buying a strip and let them get additionals upfront.
  10. Being on the doorstep of defeat is bad as it is. To drop two games in a row as your offense flops around like a fish out of water isn't exciting. Sure it is fun to watch the Brewers win a postseason game, but you risk going to watch the Brewers lose Game 6 of the NLCS...that is pretty rough on the feelings. I imagine a lot of people are also holding out to go to Game 7 instead...many people can't afford to go to every single game of the postseason. We are now on home game #5. People probably figure well I will go to Game 7 if it happens and if it doesn't I will be really happy I didn't drop hundreds on Game 6 to watch their season end. The possible historical significance will help sell tickets for Game 7 if it happens, but you have the same problem again. Why spends hundreds of dollars to risk watching their season end? If they win yah you miss them clinch a World Series birth (incredible), but who cares? Now you have money saved up for World Series tickets! Milwaukee and our fans in general aren't that wealthy. So many games starts to get pricey and not only that, but spending hundreds to watch their season end is not a feeling that will feel great afterwards.
  11. Zero...absolutely zero. The Wisconsin sale isn't until Monday after we have already clinched our World Series birth. No way SSH leave anything left. I would be shocked if anything was available, but maybe the Brewers are trying to get some to slip through the cracks...I doubt it though. I think that sale is so far off to give SSH the chance to get everything if they clinch Saturday.
  12. They need to get a right handed bat that can be considered a middle of the order force...they need that just in general. This series against the Dodgers has really shown our weakness of no righty bats. Our best player is rendered useless, Shaw hardly plays, and Moustakas struggles against the lefties. That's already 3/5 of our top hitters. Add in our best righty bat struggling and that is why the offense is a pile of garbage. Then you have a solid righty...but oh wait he has nowhere to play (Santana). Yes we have struggled regardless of who is pitching, but our utter lack of righty bats has been exposed pretty well. That is why adding a guy like Machado would have been absolutely massive for us...instead we are watching a team beat us with him. Not sure Goldy is the guy, but I am guessing there aren't to many impact RH bats available via trade. Not sure how you go into next season with the same problem.
  13. Yup, if the bullpen performs they should win Game 6. Then on Saturday every man and child should be available to pitch outside of Woodruff. Offensives come and go with the snap of a finger and it only takes on pitcher to struggle to get some runs. It is pretty hard to predict a Game 7. So many moving parts and guys pitching in spots they aren't used to. I think something that could potentially help them in that situation is our pitchers are used to random outings and things being off. You can't say the same about the Dodgers if they start throwing starters around in the middle innings (like Ryu who has never done so) It is also reassuring to know Counsell isn't dumb like Roenicke. Who would probably send Miley out to pitch and refuse to pull him until the 6th regardless of results because that is what starters do.
  14. This is difficult for me to understand. NLCS games 6 and 7 should be a HOT ticket always. People aren't excited. Simple as that.
  15. I don't think the crowd would necessarily boo any specific person. I'm just guessing if our offense is a joke tomorrow again and you strike out to end the 7th on a ball in the dirt you are going to hear it in a general sense as a displeasure with the entire offense as a whole.
  16. Just like every other game this postseason. If we are winning/tied people will be strong. If we are losing or are blowing/blew a big lead depression will filter through the crowd. People will get really quiet if we start losing and if the offense shows up like a beached whale I would be the second half of the game could include boo birds...which honestly at this point they kind of deserve if they fail to score runs.
  17. Reminds me of a game I attended back in 2012. Greinke slammed a ball down in frustration taking too long to get to first and Ump took it as he thought the call was BS so he tossed him in the first inning. Roenicke starts him the next day for his second start in a row. The rarity comes into play because it was the AS break after that game so he got the nod to pitch a THIRD game in a row technically. First time since 1917 it happened. Ryan Braun homered twice into the visitors bullpen and Cody Ransom hit an heroic grand slam to break a 6-6 tie in the bottom of the 8th inning.
  18. Hiura projects what we need like three years down the road. Rushing his bat will only get dissapointing results. Those are lofty expectation my friend.
  19. The bullpen will be rest for the weekend. That is the one optimistic takeaway. Couldnbe a big deal.
  20. Haha the patchwork rotation didn’t work...what. The pitching has been insane.
  21. Didn’t they blow it pretty early? And starting Marcum was not a good start.
  22. Yah, you can blame Counsell...just like the hitters. He aided to this mess with multiple highly questionable decisions that turned out poorly. Hitters are the main fault, but Counsell sure did his part to help. He doesn’t just get a free pass cause someone else sucked more.
  23. Pretty mighty fall for the Brewers the last 24 hours. If we get shut out Friday I hope the crowd boos the entire bottom of the 9th. Pathetic showing by the offense when it matters. They faced good pitchers, but they have just flat out sucked beyound that.
  24. From dreams of a 3-1 lead to 2-3 deficit in 24 hours. Much like in 2011 they look dead at this point. Won’t be tuning in on my TV, hope they can pull out a win.
