Tough to sacrifice an out for another inning of him when you are trailing, though at this stage - i'd be good either way If Arcia gets out...yah I would probably do it. But I see where that can be hard to do when the two guys after him have gotten hits today.

That is an absolutely frustrating AB by Yelich. You hit a homer off the guy in the first, see if you can get into a long count and maybe draw a walk. Really think Buehler is going to pump a bunch of pitches down the middle. Man would have like to see patience there.

Yup, use Hader and get a lead. We have plenty of elite relievers to go. We don’t need to be using Peralta or Guerra in this situation.

Stearns did a lot of great things...but he really showed us he is human when it came to getting Schoop. Total zero.

Hader isn’t a panic move. He is pitching today regardless. It is not a mystery.

I think Melvin can be a great GM when his owner isn’t up his back end telling him what to do. Unfortunately the Mets job may not be that. Melvin is a good dude though. I’m sure he has been a great help to Stearns, especially on the trade market. Melvin made great trades and what about them quietest and effectively.

After the commanding win yesterday I will be pretty calm until we get in the hole.

They don’t make DVDs about losing Game 7 in the NLCS. We need this win and oddly I’m pretty chill and confident they can get it done. They returned home and the offense was great. Today we get to employ pitching better than any ace one can find. If Chacin can give us a solid start we are golden, just need to score runs then. I think being at home is going to be the difference maker here.

He threw quite a few pitches...no chance. We have some many options available really is no reason he should be pitching.

I think any reliever who looks incredible in their first inning is going two...no questions asked. I see a lot of match up and putting in guys midinning. So maybe guys going 1.1 or 1.2

With the pitching each team will be throwing today early runs and an early lead are the key. That’s what likely wins this game. Never wanted a win this bad in my life outside the Rodgers Super Bowl. What it would mean for this organization can’t be put into words.

I think it is common sense to think Chacin is going 3 max. Why would we bother having him face guys a second time when our bullpen is fully loaded and they all looked great tonight? We get 2 days rest before Game 1 on Tuesday. I’d be shocked if he went more than 4, absolutely shocked.
