  1. To use the bullpen and count on your offense to score a simple extra run only to watch them fail after 13innings is pretty brutal. That’s a win you should have...easy. Amazing to think that would have all but put us on the doorstep of a World Series...instead we are fighting another day in an even series. Would be nice to go up 3-2 on our way home instead of needing to win both home games...I think we can win 2/3 regardless, but the offense really could use some kind of showing. Might have to avoid the IGT thread as I am sure it will be loaded with negativity after last night, especially if we start to lose.
  2. Night night, should have gone to bed a long time ago. Hope I wake up to a win.
  3. It is frustrating to watch Hader pump pitches well within the strike zone when he is up in the count 1-2 0-2. Just seems so unneeded. If his stuff ever regresses he will struggle a lot because he doesn’t know how to actually pitch anymore. He just chucks fastballs and occasional sliders no one can hit. Doesn’t care where they end up often. Doesn’t mean much now, but you must wonder how long he will have such insane stuff to pitch like that.
  4. Will be interesting if Hader has a scoreless inning if A) Dodgers will reply with Jansen and B) If we fail to score if Counsell will go two innings with Hader.
  5. I support this move. Go for it Craig, go for it. If Hader blows it and can’t be used again what did we really lose out on?
  6. Whether we get the lead or not I think you have to bring in Hader to start the 8th. Trust your offense to figure out how to score one run. Take the gamble. Just like I think the Dodgers should put in Jansen. Guy with the bigger pair with the bullpen probably wins this one.
  7. I wouldn’t hate bringing in Hader. This is pretty much a must win for the Dodgers which means it is pretty much a clinch game for us. Why not gun for it when you have a shot? It is the postseason!
  8. I don’t think Cain could possibly find a way to suck more offensively lately. Him and Yelich are killing us.
  9. Around 150,000 These postseason games will see over 100 a lot of times though.
  10. It’s one thing to be on the roster to protect against middle infielders being injured and needing a glove at SS. It’s another to get at bats when others are available to play. They probably carry him over a better emergency infielder for his power. Can’t understand any other logical reason.
  11. Man I was stupidly optimistic Santana would make a difference in September, but jeez this is even past my wildest dream.
