If true I am going to miss him. True Professional...

You would trade for Ramirez instead of Frazier because most importantly Frazier is not going to be available. If we pretend he was the reason to go after Ramirez is due to the fact he will cost little in the prospect department while Frazier will require a dump truck load.

There is a private message option if you feel inclined to comment. I don't know if it works on this site...but I am to assume it does. I really don't see the point in making a comment in a thread. All you are doing is making a mess of a legitimate thread. That being said I am not trying to make enemies...if you have a problem feel free to message me about it. I will try to please as many as I can if I see their point. It also doesn't help your argument when you are being rude yourself though. Assuming things about my life and such. I also have to agree with the Brew4U. I don't think anyone on here is perfect when it comes to commenting. Many people can get defensive on a topic or come off rude. Most of the time I go over my posts and will edit if it seems a bit rude/uneeded after I post. Sometimes I feel a bit rushed and you get like my original comment in this thread.

Sorry mom I will watch myself in the future. Seriously though I didn't find it that big of a deal. It was slight joke.

Did you fall asleep for a few years? That system is long gone and I don't think he would be anywhere close to a comp pick in the old system anyway. Pretty rude response to a simple question, IMHO. Depends how you take it...like anything in text form.

I have to admit that idea really doesn't make any sense to me. If you think Peralta is losing his rotation spot you have lost your mind. He has been in the rotation for years and has proven to be effective.

So when we DFA Lohse is everyone going to moan about how we are winning more games and our draft pick keeps getting worse? I'm just curious because most on here are already concerned about playing better down the stretch ruining out Top 5 pick chances...wouldn't people want Lohse?
  9. MrTPlush
I wouldn't mind that proposed deal, but I would prefer one more decent prospect. As mentioned Gausman has already started to burn service time which is a bit of a downside for me.

Shame on the Brewers trying to lock up their young talent! Melvin has done pretty well in extensions(Lucroy, Gomez, first Braun extension, Gallardo). Out of all things I'd complain about regarding Melvin that would be dead last. How many players have denied extensions? Segura...and?
  11. MrTPlush
Well dang...that is unfortunate. It is a part of the game.

Attanasio always seems to want to spend every penny. I doubt he really cares about Garza's contract that much. Not only that but with all the saved money in the coming years do you think he really cares? I don't see the concern here. I especially don't see them hurting a future deal using Lohse.

I'd guess quite a few more than two. Remember before the next BF.NET list we will have the deadline and off-season trades. Carlos Gomez better add two alone or something is seriously wrong. I'd guess at least 4.
  14. MrTPlush
Umm why? If the Nationals don't want Segura it means nothing. Even if they are it may not improve it.
  15. MrTPlush
Rounded out as a pretty good list.
  16. MrTPlush
    NO...just no.
  17. MrTPlush
Right...One good game and let's lose our minds. Let's not pay attention to his pathetic OBP or the fact he has one measly XBH over his last 40 or so hits. Embarrassing
  18. MrTPlush
Too bad some of the best offensive performers are on their way out in the next week or so. Probably won't help the winning record cause.

You aren't going to get any guy that looks promising. Best shot is to dig really really low into the minors and hope you hit the jack pot. Like trading for Orlando Arcia way way back when we first signed him...when he wasn't considered much. Ramirez will fetch something that is next to nothing and will most likely always be that. With the off chance it provides something to the MLB team someday. But you are off topic from what he actually said. It is true we won't get a current Top 100 or similar value. Now whether the scrub we get somehow turns into something or becomes a top 100 prospect is a totally different story.

Go back to the dugout Braun and stop complaining about how you watched another strike three.
  21. MrTPlush
He has been pretty good. Too many high counts for my liking, but still a solid start so far.
  22. MrTPlush
Props to the Brewers not attempting to sign him to a bad contract.
  23. MrTPlush
Alright time to trade him while his value is high. One extra base hit in one at bat...say nothing more.
  24. MrTPlush
Wouldn't be surprised to see the Brewers go after a those balance picks if they trade with a team that has one.
  25. MrTPlush
Well yah kind of like that. Can you imagine if they started emailing other GMs trade ideas and then telling the press through email? PR nightmare.
