Well Ramirez. You fought father time for a long hard battle, but sadly he has hit you. Should have retired last off-season and ended on a high note.

Nice start by Cravy. Interested to see him when he gets extended time at the MLB level and hitters get better scouting reports.

He has played in like 13 games and sports a .113 BABIP when he has consistently been over .300 in his career. Give the guy some time.

I have a feeling whatever team ends up with Gomez is going to be really dissapointed if they give up a haul of players. His aggressiveness is getting over the top, his defense isn't all that special anymore, stolen base efficiency trending downwads.

I don't think the location of a AAA team in Wisconsin means anything. There are a few other Midwest teams(Indianapolis, Omaha, Des Moines). On top of that there as a Seattle area AAA team that is on its own island compared to other AAA teams. Next closest to them is all the way in S. California.

Brewers are #7 in attendance.. that is quite impressive regardless of record.

If you are talking to me I wasn't referring to Gomez...he is just an all out aggressive player. But the rest of the team could learn a bit and Ed Sedar really needs to go. He is always getting players into bad situations.

I can honestly say I have watched every pitch and I will not accept a lose at this point. I have watched way to many garbage FS Wisconsin commercials for a loss.

Well it is the Cardinals so we will be getting crushed quite early. I would almost bet a position player pitches tomorrow. The chances are good.

Alright so we have used every reliever and some threw a lot of pitches. Does Smith get suspended tomorrow or will it start Tuesday? What a mess.

Crazy risk there. Yah Lohse isn't a sure out, but Maldonado has been hitting the ball well today. Would have looked incredibly dumb if he banged one over the fence. My only thought is maybe they thought as long as he doesn't hit a homer they can still get Lohse easily and if they get Maldonado out the next inning leads off with the pitcher. Calculated risk.

If they were going to bunt it would have been Parra. They wanted Braun to bat...not Rogers and assorted spare parts. Didn't work...not that the spare parts did anything afterwards.

You have to find an interested team first and when it comes to a AAA team that is a huge investment. Then you have to deal with the politics involved and another million roadblocks. I don't know how many cities with investors are looking to invest millions in a baseball team. And in the Braves case I think they own the team. Does Attanasio have any interest in investing millions in a AAA team? They COULD do it, but would they really want to?

It doesn't matter his slide was completely fine and the right way for anyone planning on avoiding DL stints constantly. I rather him be out right there instead of being on the bench for two weeks with a broken finger. Is the baserunning a problem on this team? Yes and it needs to be fixed. Part of that is likely with a new coaching staff and to address this problem in spring training. I'm not sure why you even want to mention the slide. It really isn't the problem. The problem is being halfway to 3rd on a soft pop up to the SS.
