  1. The play by play is several seconds ahead of the action for me, is that the case for the rest of you?
  2. Well that was certainly enjoyable. Not every day you can blow a conference opponent out at their house.
  3. By the looks of things this next week could be “fun” watching the pretend money plummet, for the short term anyways.
  4. I don't remember trading away or for Jenkins. That Burnitz trade was such crazy a mess of people moving all over the place.
  5. For me it's not that I dislike the players we got, or fail to understand the logic of the trade. I was hoping to see Peralta and Tobias pitch for the Brewers in '26. My thought being that gives us a pretty good shot at another great season (we still have a good shot at it, mind you, but of course Peralta makes the Brewers a better team. And Myers potentially too.) and maybe even win a pennant or something. Which can still happen of course. Whatever, I'll miss Freddy and Tobias. I don't want to root against them, but I have no love at all for NYM so that's what it's gonna be. Hopefully this ends up being a great trade in the long run.
  6. Yeah I don't know what else the guy could've done. Anyways, ballgame. Congrats Indiana. Helluva game.
  7. False start brutal for Indiana, hopefully it doesn't cost them the game.
  8. Good. Screw chicago.
  9. I'm sure I'm not alone in this, but the years of ineptitude, stupidity and choke jobs have hardened and galvanized me to the point of being pretty much un-pants-crappable anymore when it comes to the Packers in the playoffs. Take last Saturday, for example. There literally was not a single moment during that game where I actually believed that the Packers would win. Not even for one second! That's pretty sad when a fan can't feel any confidence whatsoever in the team finishing out a win with a 21-3 halftime lead and getting the ball in the 2nd half, but that's what the Packers have managed to to me. I hate thinking like that, and even more, I hate being RIGHT when I think like that.
  10. I didn't mind the movie. If nothing else, it gives one heck of a different perspective for the theme song 😀
  11. The Dodgers are like a college power forward dunking on a 7th grader and then flexing about it. I know how to beat them but it'll obviously never happen. The way to beat them takes a collective effort. Everyone Sunday lineup them all year long. Pitchers, don't hurt yourself trying to win. Punt the games, all year long, everyone. Don't let them face true MLB caliber opposition all year long until the playoffs. Fans, when LAD comes to town, don't buy tickets. Never happen but it would be hilarious.
  12. We need a gift turnover. Snap it over Williams head.
  13. Would have been interesting to see what would happen if Love cuts in and keeps it on the grounding play.
  14. A long touchdown drive here would do us wonders
  15. Points would be great. At least don’t let them get the ball back I was thinking about too going into it. This fg would be sweet
  16. Don’t let them get anything going here now
  17. Really liked seeing Jacobs hit them hard on a couple of those runs. Good way to set the tone
  18. One of those conversions the TEs blatant hold sprung it. Flag should have been thrown and it might have changed things considerably.
  19. Yeah it won't get frostbite or anything, and it won't get colder than the -30 ambient we had this morning. But where the windchill becomes a factor is that it reduces the effectiveness of the block heater, oil pan heater and battery blanket because they're all constantly fighting a losing battle. They help some (it did manage to start this morning, barely) but they'd have been much more effective and it wouldn't have been such a hard start in -30 ambient with still air.
  20. I feel like I owe my poor old car a sincere and heartfelt apology for what I forced it to do for me this morning. -56 wind chill is just not nice.
  21. Wow, if you leave it up for 11+ months, that tree's gotta be drier than a popcorn fart by the time you haul it out. Kidding, JFS, I know what you meant.
