  1. I feel like he's improved a lot defensively as the season has gone on too, I can see why Craig wants him in the lineup everyday instead of ever playing Anderson.
  2. Good things happen when you put the ball in play and take extra bases
  3. Wow did they get lucky with that send
  4. So the whining about it absolutely is a mirage.
  5. Well you gotta understand its a low average team, I would expect them to also be bad with RISP. What's surprising is the amount of double plays they hit into given how few baserunners they get.
  6. The worst hitter imaginable with a runner at 1st and less than two outs. It should be an automatic steal attempt first pitch no matter what.
  7. I can't wait until we've seen the last Rowdy Tellez AB
  8. Remember, there can only be one optimism thread.
  9. Here's one for Wisconsin born sports hero Paul Menard!
  10. The Cubs... LOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Nah just AAA. When I think of AAAA players I think of guys who get multiple stints in the bigs but just can't quite stick and they crush it in AAA. Hiura is a great example. Andrews is a 5 foot nothing batting practice pitcher who should never see the big league roster.
  12. Back before your time in '21 the magic number thread was started in mid-August.
  13. Yeah I still think it was the right call, devin has had several outings this year where he entered in the 8th. Sometimes things don't work at all though.
  14. The giving up on a reliever thing after like a couple outings is tiring. Sometimes after a long streak of success a couple of hits fall in, an error or two, a tight strikezone, any number of things happen. When you're talking about relief innings it's a very small amount of innings compared to starters.
  15. Yup every other team in the hunt unstoppable with no faults, might as well pack in when down 2 in the 8th
  16. There we go! That's one back! Send all the doom and gloom posters back to their caves!
  17. Good idea to bring in Williams, I always am in favor of using a closer to get out of a jam in the 8th if necessary.
