  1. Is a .679 OPS against lefties that bad? It's 2 points worse on the season compared to Ruf against lefties.
  2. Yeah a sample of one at bat. This lineup is not good enough to keep Rowdy on the bench against anyone
  3. Oh well, that's a chance you take when the lineup is this bad against lefty starters. Mike Brosseau has a .267 obp this year while mostly being used to face lefties, I'll take my chances with Rowdy.
  4. I wish more than anything, instead of trying to replace umpires, just get rid of the stupid strikezone box on the TV. That would end so much of the stupid fan whining about pitches that might miss the zone by an inch.
  5. Yeah same can be said for a lot of guys in the lineup, still has the best offensive numbers of any qualifier on the team, play him everyday.
  6. Rowdy should've been at first anyway, he should not be sitting against lefties
  7. I literally have that and I cannot watch the Diamondbacks, Dodgers, Padres, Angles, A's, or Giants because I'm somehow considered to be in the home market of those teams even though four of those teams do not broadcast on my cable and two of them rarely do.
  8. What's even worse is for those of us in a team's "home market" who have cable tv and the MLB package but can't watch the team in the "home market" because their too far away. This happens to me for Diamondbacks, Padres, Giants, Dodgers, A's, and Angels. Now granted, sometimes on the local bally sports network I'd see Angels or Diamondbacks but not all of the games are televised.
  9. Thirty years living in Milwaukee I see zero World Series appearances, just over one year living in Las Vegas and the Golden Knights are in the Stanley Cup Finals, it's just that easy for some isn't it? No pain and years of failure, just straight to a championship appearance in year 1 of following a team.
  10. Yeah, idk, I'm just gonna have to completely disagree with that, obviously the Brewers do too.
  11. I mean he did walk 3 guys in 1.1 innings in the outing before that and as was already mentioned he struggled in the minors during rehab.
  12. Marginal guys at the end of the bench or last guys in the pen just aren't going to get the benefit of a large sample size of appearances. There's an endless supply of marginal players like this in AAA that can be acquired for next to nothing, try to find one that doesn't give up 9 runs in 2/3 of an inning.
  13. Why does a concession stand have a secret fish fry?
  14. Yeah the thing about Vegas is outside of the valley there is really nothing. You don't really have any small or mid sized cities anywhere near by.
  15. Maybe. I mean in hockey we have the Las Vegas Golden Knights and just a few miles away the Henderson Silver Knights is their farm team. There will still be plenty of people who will choose the cheaper option.
  16. Downtown San Diego was nice. Tickets were surprisingly cheap too. Was only $71 on stubhub for first level 16 rows behind the dugout. Upper deck behind homeplate only $34. I liked having beaches very close by, but unfortunately it was a little too cold.
  17. Is there anywhere in particular you recommend I buy seats? Any nearby restaurNts or bars I should visit?
  18. Nah I live in Vegas now. Also, I think I heard it was just a water bottle. This next weekend I'll go to my first games of the year when the Brewers head to San Diego.
  19. Agreed! Except sometimes I'm that guy. Also on a related note, if you need another beer in the 8th inning+ or while you're leaving the stadium, you can usually find an unattended beer case near a concession stand. Also, never buy anything except the cheapest terrace reserve seats, its a really easy ballpark to find open seats on the first or second level.
  20. I was way too pessimistic with this.
  21. MVP: Urias CY Young: Woodruff Rookie of the Year: Mitchell BA Leader: Mitchell (.346), will qualify HR Leader: Urias (47) ERA Leader: Woodruff (qualifier 1.98), Williams (min. 50 IP 0.67) SO Leader: Woodruff (279) WAR Leader: Urias (11.6) Breakout(s): Urias, Mitchell, Strzelecki Disappointment(s): Burnes, Contreras Bold Prediction (s): Can't think of any Record: 146-16 Playoffs? WS win 4-0 over BAL Buckle up!
