He's carrying a 1.7 WAR this year in a partial season. If you're going to use that stat comparatively, you need to look at number of PA's.

From favorite to least: 1. Wrigley - especially before the newest upgrades, loved the old school feel. Loved the neighborhood. Been there six times over the years for Brewers/Cubs game, including a doubleheader in 2013. Only loss was the 13-6 loss this year after the rainless rainout. First time was 13 years ago for a Cubs/Mets game. 2. Miller Park - Many, many great summer days spent there, and a few in fall too! You'll usually find me somewhere in the bleachers or at Fridays. First game out of hundreds was Easter Sunday 2001 on Miller Park's opening weekend. 3. Target Field - been to one game, July 2nd, 2011 Down 7-0 early after Narveson got shelled, they came back to win 8-7. Biggest comeback I've ever seen in person. It was incredible. When Nyjer Morgan hit the game tying double in the 9th, the crowd went nuts. I was sitting so high up I couldn't even see if it was caught, just heard the roar of the crowd, there were so many Brewer fans. Other than that it was a beautiful new stadium in the middle of downtown, great nightlife around the area. Fun night. 4. County Stadium - Many of you have more memories in County Stadium than I do. I was 11 years old when Miller Park opened. Still, first place I ever saw a game, I just remember being able to see half built Miller Park right behind the bleachers. 5. New Busch Stadium - Went to a couple games in August 2012 Brewers lost both of them. Stadium seemed kind of just like any standard stadium, nothing special. I'll take Friday's over Carl's Jr. any day. Area around the stadium is a barron wasteland, couldn't really find a bar or much of anything to do in the immediate walking distance. Got to the hotel early those nights.

That's awesome that BA went to redgranite on the all star break, great place to visit during the summer.

I'll never forget that Braun grand slam walkoff against the Pirates. The excitement leaving the stadium was insane. Also never forget how loud it was for CC's first start. It was really fun watching that team get good, just wish they could have finished the job in '11.

That was definitely the case yesterday, long line to park, long line to get in, concession lines were long too, especially with the discount everyone gets. It is what it is though, they did a hell of a job putting this together on such short notice.

It's nice having a good hitting pitcher in the lineup, over the last few years we have seen some absolutely awful hitting pitchers at the back of the lineup. Nelson and Garza are two of the worst culprits.

It wasn't even a good year in the minors (I mean a lot of guys below expectations for what it's worth), this year the minor leagues as a whole have been much better. Still a few big disappointments, like Ray and Lara, but when you have a couple of pitchers like Woodruff and Burnes, that's incredible, not to mention seeing a few of these guys surface like Phillips and Hader and have success and that's a pretty good year for the future.

Well in my Brewers fandom, which only goes back to '98 the two best would be 2011 and 2012. They had back to back winning seasons and won the division in 2011, the only time in my lifetime I've seen a division winner. This two year stretch would only be the best if they do better than just winning the division this year and next year is worse than last year. Last year was year 1 in the rebuild and there was not much excitement at the major league level. I've seen a lot of Brewer teams win somewhere in the mid to low 70's in wins and be out of the race much of the year.

Can't do anything about that, on the flip side, if the Brewers hadn't won that many games they'd be out of it by now.

High school football. Also it was announced that the field level would only be available, and they only started selling tickets to the 2nd deck later today. 19k is pretty good attendance for exclusively walk up ticket sales with only a couple days notice that there'd even be a game. Completely agree... On short notice, I think Milwaukee did our state proud!!! Don't underestimate the power of Friday Night Lights, high school football is HUGE in WI! Back during the '07 and '08 seasons I was a Junior and Senior in high school playing high school football. Probably went to 15+ games sitting in cheap seats with buddies each year, but obviously could never watch on Friday night during late August, September, and even October. With all the games going on throughout the state and thousands attending most games, that's a lot of sports fans unavailable.

That's the difference this season, it's a lineup with a lot of average and above average, but no great seasons. Not a single OPS over .900 for any regular. Only one real blackhole though in Villar.

Can't really blame it on an injury again, if he's chasing pitches like that.

It's a shame too, very similar year for him that he had in 2014. Why couldn't we get the 2015 or 2016 Ryan Braun this year?
