    Had a lot of time on my hands with the tornadoes and whatnot, so I looked up the twitter accounts of a few of these HS draftees to (stalk) get a feel if they're gonna sign. Not the best evidence I know but hey I'm excited about that run of players. Je'von Ward- In his bio he already has Milwaukee Brewers Organization Good sign? Retweeted the awesome Brewers Prospects account as well. USC commitment Gage Workman- Has tweeted non stop about being drafted. He's juiced to say the least. Maybe he's a possible sign. LG Castillo- Said it was the happiest day of his life, he's already wearing the hat!, and his cousin said "he will not disappoint with this opportunity" OU commitment Ledgend Smith- Don't think he's gonna sign. OK boy probably his dream to play for the Sooners. Noah Campbell- No idea he's got a great name though Max Lazar and Christian Santana- Couldn't find much that would give any hints to their plans. Abdiel Layer- No clue he's from Puerto Rico so maybe he wants to make that jump to pro ball instead of FIU. That's the extent of my subpar detective work so fat lol.

    Love it watched a couple times and he had a ton of solid contact. Was hoping for him obviously later, but hopefully he came cheap like others have said.

    A draft expert once told me on twitter to always expect players drafted on day 1 and day 2 to sign.

    Y'all are really testing my patience today. Nevertheless my wants at the beginning of the third round start with Tristian Beck- Probably not enough to sign Blayne Enlow- Not enough to sign Nick Allen- Not enough to sign Jacob Heatherly- Probably not enough Alex Scherff- No idea Jake Eder- No idea James Marinan- No idea (Partial to him as another HS arm) Probably should go college arm though cough Beck cough.

    What about the "we don't have hardly any quality pitching and we can't afford quality free agent pitching so we should probably look to draft some quality pitchers and hey look arguably two of the best players available are pitchers so maybe we quit wasting top picks on a position we are already loaded at" crowd? Im glad that you like the pick mainly because others hate it. That's very classy. R-E-L-A-X I'm sorry you think it's classless to laugh at others that think they have a crystal ball, or are oracles, or are part time soothsayers. No one knows what the future holds. It's unlikely our top OF prospects bust, but it could happen, and frankly our SP is our greatest strength in the minors right now. LOL at "wasting a pick" HOW DO YOU KNOW?!

    Main reason I love it. I like the player, but getting the "too many outfielders" crowd whining and moaning puts it over the top.

    Each pick has a slot value for signing bonuses. Players can cut deals with teams so they can get drafted higher. Signing for underslot leaves the team with a bigger portion of their bonus pool which allows them to spread it out more throughout the draft.

    I'm guessing it was $6M or so. I bet that's what Lewis signs for. Maybe $6.5M. Really that low? I thought the slot for 1.1 was almost 8 million.

    Lets switch it up. Who are the players you're hoping the Brewers do not draft? I'm in the anti Pratto camp and although I'm warming up to Adell I don't want him at 9 either. Also going to say Kendall and Pavin Smith are up there too.

    I'm throwing out Faedo now as a possibility after watching him. His velocity seemed to be back to normal (93-96 on FB). In 4 IP he had 9 Ks, 1 walk, and 4 Hs. That slider is absolutely filthy. I go back and forth with him and Baz if the target is RHP.

    The tools of Adell's are so loud that if you believe he has a chance to become a pro hitter you got to take him. I'm still not in that camp yet, but I am warming up to him. Side-note I just looked up a picture of Jordan and the dude has 80 grade eyebrows.
