  1. Thanks man! I just got the therma base jacket for $36 dollars (70% off). They had Brewers Cooperstown jacket on sale at 80% for $22 so I picked up one of those for my brother as well. Here's what I'm talking about: http://shop.mlb.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2213551&cp=1452356.1452802.1668401
  2. I'm hoping to be there on Thursday.
  3. I only saw the last 3 or four matches. Taker vs. HBK was very good I thought. Some good spots. Cena lifting up the Show and Edge at the same time was phenomenal in an otherwise average match. HHH vs. Orton was a joke. Boring wrestling throughout and an even less interesting finish. I was very disappointed there. Did HHH turn heel? I haven't watched much recently, has he been a face? Those were the only matches I saw. Seemed pretty disappointing.
  4. I don't think it is strange at all for an 18 year old to put on a lot of weight once they get into a professional (or even college) conditioning program. A couple pitchers that I faced in hs went on to college and after seeing them a few years later they were noticeably bigger, especially their calves.

  7. The color man actually said "Nope" once besides the cheering, I believe. Uek says, "Anything to add Monty?" "Nope." "He's not the best color man in the league for nothing, folks!" That's in the first one, right?
  8. He actually stated so in a video clip that I watched when he predicted Yo as Cy. Very cool to see the props, though.
  9. Patrick, were parts of that post supposed to be in blue? Why should 2, 4, and 6 be able to move over? Why is that perfection? Do you really think the store should check to see who has the least items as well as each person's payment method? This thread is getting weird. I agree with much of what mtrebs said, but I don't think I let things ruin my perspective on things like he seems to.
  10. What do you mean? You don't agree that "it's coooooooooooool to know nothing."
  11. What are the chances that his rehab assignments are with the T-Rats, being that it is a quick drive to Milwaukee from there? It'd probably cement my inclination to get some tickets to opening weekend in Appleton next Thursday/Friday if Hoffman would be suiting up. Then again, I doubt they want him throwing in 45 degree weather in rehab assignments. Heat wave?
  12. Did you question why Urban Meyer left Utah for Florida?
  13. I was 0-1 with a K in my 1 career plate appearance against Zimmerman when I was a senior in high school. They brought him in in the 7th when the game got tight and I quickly watched a fastball blaze past me, waved at another fastball as it pounded the catcher's mitt, then waved at a slider that started on the outer half and ended up at least 8 inches off the plate. That pitch was unlike anything I ever saw in high school. And he was probably only throwing mid-80s with his heater at the time. Professional baseball players are sick. He's a great guy, though. Wish he was a Brewer.
  14. Count me in for a league. The one I'm in now is decent, but I'm always up for good games.
  15. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I appreciate that he is doing it, too.
  16. I understand that a blog isn't a newspaper article. It is still a form of communication, and in this case somewhat formal and certainly a representation of himself. I guess I just think it reflects somewhat poorly on him. That doesn't mean I won't be in Appleton (hopefully) in a month or so cheering for the guy.
  17. Stoutude...I'm always up for a good sim game. Check your pm.
  18. I only play online with this game, but it seems to happen in all sports games that you run into a game vs. the computer and are destined to be beaten. Can't hit a lick and everything you throw gets drilled.
  19. Neat. What was the deal with Oklahoma in the late 19th/early 20th century?
  20. It'd be nice if he'd put a little effort into proper sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation. Cripes that was almost embarrassing to read. I look forward to the insight that will hopefully come of it. PS-Before anyone reminds me that he is a baseball player, and not an English major, I'd like to make sure they know that I am aware of that.
  21. Wow, stories flying. I read that he was in line at the drive thru of a fast food spot and went out to check some ruckus from the car behind him and ended up getting hit in the leg.
  22. Was that Adam Dunn in a Brewers uni?
  23. How bout a draft? Or will that be too difficult to orchestrate?
  24. I think it's been almost a year and a half since the Yankee stadium one. The whole sequence is hilarious.
  25. Pulled a big win on HOF level last night online on the back of a Mike Cameron 2-run HR. Hard to lay off pitches in the game, but it does get easier over time. I've had some frustrating baserunning experiences as well, but I have yet to take the time to really look into what the controls are. Great game, though. Any updates on the league stoutdude?
