  1. Didn't see as much jiggle as I expected when Prince's shirt came up. Must have more of a tank than a pudge midsection.
  2. I was wondering what had happened. I posted the clip on my Facebook account and went to watch it today and found out it had been removed. The Brewers really need to make the playoffs, now.
  3. Yeah, read on Drudge that they will be looking into gouging in FL where prices were up around 5.50 in places. An official said there is no shortages and that "millions of gallons" of gasoline are available.
  4. Sitting at 3.79 at one stop in Wausau tonight, but I was told that it had jumped to 3.99 most places. Did hurricanes have this kind of effect on prices 10 years ago? I'm kind of young, but before Katrina I don't really remember this being such an issue.
  5. I'll second that blatz (mmm, beer). I used to wake up and it'd take me a while to get going and actually feel alive. For the last few weeks I've been in the gym by 6 a.m. doing cardio and moderate to heavy lifting. It seems like I have twice as much energy on these days as I do when I don't work out. Today I actually went for a short afternoon jog as well just because I wanted to burn some energy (and the foot long sub I had). Funny enough, working out also seems to suppress my appetite some what. I probably eat as much or more as usual, but I don't crave food. It's a pain to just go and do it those first few days, but once you get in a routine and start feeling the benefits it will become much easier to go.
  6. That is an awesome clip. Helping me keep the faith over this tough stretch. A new favorite song of mine too now!
  7. I just think it is a lot easier to maintain focus and composure when playing in live games. Clicking a mouse is a lot easier that pushing out all your chips.
  8. NOW that's what I call music Vol. 158
  9. Packers primarily and switching to the Brewers. My biggest concern right now is finding a way out of my class that runs til 6:30.
  10. I've heard about this before homer. Also, I've heard of bowling leagues and such in retirement homes on the Wii. Just to be clear, though, Wii Sports and Wii Fit are two different things. Either way, it is a cool system for a range of things.
  11. Thanks BK. My first reaction to the strike 3 call on Gamel was that it was a bad call off the plate, but the way his changeup moves it was certainly very close. Not a bad at bat either way.
  12. And I'm sure what you do works. I'm just saying that I lost about 30 lbs. over the summer and Wii Fit was an important part of that, both for keeping track of my progress and exercise and in providing me with a workout option for both cardio and strength training. It is at the very least a terriffic starter tool that shouldn't be ignored as an option.
  13. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Cellcom. I've used them for 5 years now. Customer service has always been good. Switching plans and setup has been very easy for me. I'd fully recommend them to anyone. Oh, and they have online accounts now also, so you can pay bills and keep track of things on their website.
  14. Wii fit would be great for anyone who needs to add activity in to their day without being totally bored. I was fairly active, working construction and playing fastpitch and slowpitch softball in the summer nearly every night and still was able to use the Wii in the morning or right after work to get a nice sweat going in 15 minutes of spare time. Don't knock it when you don't know anything about it. He isn't trying to become and Ironman remember. That said, you clearly know what you are talking about. I just dont' want to discredit any options out there that might very well be fitting for what he is trying to do.
  15. All that said. Baby piglets are just so darn cute. Is there another animal that turns from so cute to so damn ugly as it grows as much as a pig?
  16. I third the Wii Fit. It is a good way to track progress and provides several options to get you moving. If you are working in tandem with anyone to lose weight it is fun to compete for top scores on the exercises. Definitely something to look into.
  17. Sportsbook.com and pokerstars are both very easy to get money into and out of. I'd be interested in an online game. I'm guess most of the posters who are talking about home games are in the Milwaukee area, so that is out for me.
  18. Yep, pigs can be vicious. My uncle has several pigs on what amounts to a hobby farm across the road from my parents' house. Especially when they're little ones are around you need to watch out. I've never been bitten, but have nearly had to clean my shorts out on a couple of occasions when I got too close to their heads.
  19. Good luck, jason! Losing the extra lbs. has certainly helped me regain some self-confidence and improved my social life. Threads like these definitely help. thebruce...I'd like to hear about your diet. Would you mind sharing?
  20. I got a nasty sunburn on my back this summer. I was putting steel on a roof and took my shirt off. It was only for a couple of hours, but this was the first time in about 5 years that I had my shirt off out in the sun for more than a few minutes. Well, that afternoon I started feeling a bit achy and soon after had a full blown fever. Blisters on my back for about 4 days and the ensuing "oozing" with that. First time I've ever had a fever-inducing sunburn. 23 years old and not smart enough to put lotion on.
  21. lukevan...lots of options. I like playing at Pokerstars. Pretty easy in and out so long as you have a checking account.
  22. I lost about 40 lbs since May. The dieting part was most difficult for me. Portion size is huge. I like to buy those microwave dinners (Michelina's Lean Gourmet are cheap and pretty good). They are a good way to control how much you eat. Other than that I replaced cereals like Fruit Loops with All Bran Berries and other higher fiber choices. They are tasty and MUCH more filling than sweet cereals. The main thing is that you have to really want to make the change. It'll seem like sacrificing at first, but you'll just feel better after you get used to your new routine.
  23. I hope he gets it, but I feel like that official scorer robbed CC, the team, and all of us of what could have been a memorable day.
  24. I'm living with my brother and he just got a 32" 720p HDtv. I guess it is nice, but a SD TV with good reception is just as good with me for the money.
  25. I'm all hooked up online with my PS3 now. Is there an easy way to get the players names on the game now? I could enter them all, but I'd rather not. Thanks for any help!
