  1. I'm a college student listed as a "dependent" of my parents when it comes to taxes. I made probaly 8,000 dollars last year. Do I get a check or does that go to the folks?
  2. I read that he has been clean of drug use for nearly a year now. Might never know for sure, but it seems pretty evident that Ledger was a good person, a talented actor, and a loving father. How anyone isn't saddened by this to some degree is not understandable to me.
  3. Where is Hardy sitting at in that picture?
  4. Packers are 12-2. Brett Favre is God again. And I am in my Fantasy football Super Bowl. Besides having papers and finals due this week there isn't really a thing in the world bugging me.
  5. Umm...that is the basis for this whole thread. Check the first post. Also, count me as one who would be very excited to get Blalock at a reasonable price. Cheaper than Rolen with much more upside. He'd be great in our lineup in a division which most of the best seem to be RHP.
  6. What kind of roof is that?
  7. Sad story. His one year old daughter is the biggest loser in this whole senseless event.
  8. People are crazy. My sister wouldn't get up at 7 am if the Pope was visiting our house, but she was up at 3:30 this morning to go shopping. I really don't get the appeal.
  9. Yeah, you don't really declare a redshirt. You don't play all year and then you have redshirted. I think you might even have to apply for a redshirt season once the year is over. I agree, for Jarmusz a redshirt year would probably have been best. For the UW program, it wouldn't have.
  10. Well put, letsgored. I agree fully with what you are saying.
  11. I know it is supposed to be up to the player, but like I said, I don't think Bo and staff really care to have guys redshirt. If you are good enough to play you will play as a freshman, if not, you will probably be recruited over in years to come. Thats how it is. Name a UW guard since Bo's been here who has been a very important 5th year player. Tucker had an injury RS, so he won't count. Taylor done in 4, Flowers in 4, Harris in 3, Penny in 4. If you are a 5th year non-big player usually you got hurt or you just aren't that good.
  12. No he won't get tons of minutes, but he'll fill in a few very important minutes each game. He'll be a good matchup guy with his size also. I think recruiting in the program has gotten to the point where unless you are a big who needs body development, you won't be redshirting. If you're good enough you'll play as a freshman, if your not, you'll be recruited over in 4 years.
  13. Jarmusz will get minutes this year. There isn't exactly a lot of G depth, so if an injury happens he'll be a big part of the rotation. I think him not red shirting is actually a better move for the program.
  14. And after all that he could still afford to buy just about anything he wanted.
  15. The only site I have been getting them from with FF is CNN. I probably set it to allow them from there so I could watch video or whatever, but I can't figure out how to switch it back. Orbitz golfing games are only fun the first time.
  16. Depends how it was said. I get the feeling that since Melvin chose to tell the story at all, that Braun's comments to him were more light hearted than disrespectful.
  17. 47 in a row? You guys are unreal...or lying. I haven't heard of many of the words and have to break most of them down to have a decent guess.
  18. Yeah, I would say his jump shot is the one piece of his game that can't be called "solid" yet. He hasn't proven that he has made that improvement yet anyway. Hughes was a major get. 4 star guy the same year that Jerry Smith went to Louisville. He's originally from Queens but ended up at St. John's military academy in WI for whatever reason.
  19. If anyone on the team right now has the ability to be an early entrant into the NBA draft it is Trevon Hughes. The kid has game.
  20. That was overkill I thought. I liked when he tried introducing real guitar playing to the boys and when he came out in his underwear to play GH at night. Do you play a lot of GH?
  21. Alright, who caught the Guitar Hero episode tonight? It had moments early, but I thought it was pretty average until the ending. I never actually laughed out loud for an extended period of time during a TV show like I did at that moment. It was great.
  22. HaHa...ya, if Ben is 6'1" then Finley is 6'8". Is he?
  23. So what'd everyone think of the finale. It had its moments. I laughed. I especially liked the spoof on Al Gore crusading to save the world. I expected more, but it was entertaining.
  24. When the Brewers actually make the post season then people can complain about loyalty to the Packers. The Crew has simply given most fans under the age of 30 no reason to believe they'll be for real. The Packers have done that.
  25. Yes, you can talk about Packer message boards here, but not about the Packers. Packerchatters.com has the best message board I've seen, and has eliminated a lot of the fluff posters. Either way, I'd rather read a very active board and decipher the fluff than frequent a board that doesn't have much of a membership.
