Realistically, it won't be for several more years, before we know who won this trade. So far, I'd have to say, I'm liking our end of the deal with Yelich. I feel he's put up the 2 best offensive seasons in Milwaukee Brewers history since the trade. However, we did give up several blue chip prospect,s and I think Yamamoto was more than just a throw in. Time will tell.

Good point about Brewers OF being set at least through 2020. This really means Corey Ray and Trent Clark can only turn into trade chips if they figure it out at the higher levels of the minors. Really wanted the Brewers to draft some high upside pitchers with those first round picks, and now in hindsight, really wish they would have......Despite the Brewers horrific track record of developing SP. For what it's worth I wanted them to take LHP Brady Aiken and AJ Puk at the time. Love the Yelich trade!!! Losing Monte Harrison hurts but I'm glad it was him over Corbin Burnes. Now Stearns can target a high end SP via trade and offer their choice of: Santana/Broxton/Phillips/Ray/Clark/etc And Woodruff/Ortiz/Freddy Peralta/etc Go Brewers!

In honor of former Brewer and cinephile, John Axford, I thought I would start a general thread of "Must-see" Movies. SING STREET https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/sing_street This one somehow wasn't a box office hit and is already available for streaming on Netflix. Here's my take on it... An inspiring, charming romp of a movie, SING STREET shows us how the optimistic, passionate, romanticism of youth has the power to drown out of all the negativity, insecurity and doubt that life can dish out, and turn it into beautiful music. Pure movie magic and my favorite film so far this century. A must-see for anyone who loves music or the 1980s. And it's NOT a musical BTW. LA LA LAND couldn't hold this movie's jock strap. Would love to hear others thoughts on this hidden gem as well as their "must-see" recommendations.
