  1. I am also looking for a Braun... My trade bait is a Sheets BLUE jersey bobblehead (1 of 5000). I dont have the box, but the bobble is mint. Let me know!
  2. This is just my opinion but Fielder seems like the type of player who is stubborn and will continue to not eat meat. I remember when he hit his first home run this season looking at the camera saying "no meat, no meat". It was kind of funny then, but as we sit here approaching June- looking at his power numbers...it isnt funny anymore. Grab a burger big boy. Fielder is part of the problem this season.
  3. In watching almost all of the games that last six years....it seems like the Crew always wins the first two and loses the 3rd. (This is of course at home because in the last six years the Crew hardly ever wins 2 games during a series on the road!)
  4. Bush is really bad. I hate to say it boys but 2008 is not the Brewers year. We have a "closer by committee", Gallardo is done for the year and Fielder is on pace to have a big time down year. What a dissappointment.
  5. That video would have been an extremely tough interview. Adam is trying to joke around with dry humor and sarcasm and Braun is trying to joke around too but also say the right things to say. Tough spot to be in.
  6. Does anyone know where you can buy these on the cheap? I thought walmart had these for like $13 or $14 bucks a ball with a case but I havent seen any. If anyone knows where to get them affordably, please post!
  7. I was told by an employee at Jeff's Sports that Braun wont sign SS due to his contract with Mikita Sports.
  8. Piniella didnt win much in Tampa. The cubs have a great roster and I would think that almost any manager in baseball could do well with that team. I do agree that Piniella is a good manager, but it takes more than that to win in the bigs.
  9. Has anyone else besides me noticed the drastic difference between Braun's and Filelder's attitude. When the Brewers renewed their contracts in the spring, Fielder made a HUGE deal out of it saying that he would be "getting his payday soon, real soon". Wow. That is pretty lame. Braun on the other hand stated that the Brewers were fair and now he ended up with a nice contract. He was asked by a reporter if he planned to buy anything new and big and Braun stated "nah, I'm happy with what I've got". Truth be told, I dont think Fielder will be here one day after his contract is up. He will be hitting DH for an AL team, probably the Red Sox. If this is how is attitude is going to be, I could care less. Im glad to see the Brewers locked up Braun. He seems to be a class act.
  10. As I sit and watch this team, I often wonder who the core of the team will be over the next 3 to 7 years. I'm not sure what others expect, but I dont see Fielder being on the Brewers even through his final year of arbitration. My expectation is that LaPorta will be manning first base in probably a year or two and Fielder will have been traded to an AL team for hopefully a lot of young talent. I dont want to start a thread about how players are doing currently and which players the Crew should get rid of, but more who has the best chance of being a Brewer for years to come. I think that Braun, Hart and Gallardo will be main holdovers from this years team into the future. I would love to say that Hardy, Weeks, Fielder, Hart, Braun will be with the Brewers for years to come but that is not realistic. How many teams has A-rod played for? Randy Johnson? Derrek Lee? The fact that the Brewers are still a small market team makes the realization even greater that they wont ever have a player who they drafted after their abitration years. What do you think?
  11. no.................ok.
  12. PM sent.....let me know
  13. Of course he is going to walk...He is batting in front of the pitcher. Why would you pitch to Hardy when you can just pitch to the opposing teams pitcher.
  14. Sadly guys, he is right. The brewers arent going to be good this year. The only thing he is wrong about was saying the crew crumbled in September (it was July and August, not September).
  15. Everything is sold. Thanks for any offers sent and to those who were lucky enough to get a deal. It's nice to see stuff going to true Brewer fans on here instead of Ebay.
  16. Here is a great deal guys... For $100, I will sell the Jenkins game used autographed bat, the jenkins autographed 8x10, the Jenkins mini bat, the Russel Branyan autographed major league baseball (perfect on the sweet spot) and the Davey Lopes autographed Brewers baseball (also on the sweet spot). $100 bucks for all of it!! This stuff is doing me any good sitting around guys!
  17. If anyone is interested in the whole thing, Ill sell and ship it for $150 as long as you live in the midwest. Let me know.
  18. Most of you probably dont know, but I am a huge collector of autographed memorabilia. I figured it is time to start moving some of this stuff. I have pics of everything listed, you just need to send me your email so I can send the photos to you. All prices are negotiable, so feel free to shoot me an offer. (Lot 1) Game used Louisville slugger Geoff Jenkins Milwaukee Brewers black bat. Model c243. Bat is autographed in silver sharpie. Bat has a crack but is in one piece. Has pine tar on the handle and shows awesome game use. This lot also comes with a Jenkins autographed 8x10 photo and a Jenkins mini bat from Miller Park. I have had the bat for some time and had the bat autographed personally after a game in 2002. $SOLD (Lot 2) Ben Sheets autographed 8x10 photo from 2001. Comes with a tristar hologram and certificate of authenticity. Also included is a Ben Sheets wool pennant that is 40" long. SOLD (Misc) Make offer on this stuff (1) Russel "the muscle" Branyan autographed Official Major league baseball. Ball is signed on the sweet spot and is in perfect condition. SOLD (1) Davey Lopes autographed "brewers" baseball on the sweetspot. SOLD (1) Foul ball from a game at miller park with some random auto's. Henry Blanco and Jamey Wright and two others. I think Mike Dejean is one. SOLD As you can see this stuff is priced to move. Im not looking to break the bank here at all. This stuff has been in a closet for a long time. Wife says it needs to go and I figured I would come here first before ebay. If you need a reference....I recently sold a Fielder signed bat to mlccrispy34. Thanks!!
  19. Again...to spell Gagne correctly put the g before the n. Get some.
  20. In Melvin we trust. Nice guy but Gross pretty much sucks (especially offensively). Matt Murton cant break the cubs roster and he wasnt even the first outfielder to bring up when a starting outfielder went down. Nothing lost here and we get a young arm for the future.
  21. Did anyone just here Uecker say the wrong name for a minute or two. He kept mixing up Kapler and Gross. "Gross out of baseball for a year"
  22. Wow, both of those sigs are crap. I didnt know Hart signed in Japanese, which is actually kind of neat.
  23. Legends of the field has Corey Hart signed balls for $30 bucks right now. All Hart stuff is 25% off right now. His sig is horrible.
  24. To anyone interested, I will post pictures of the bat Sunday night. I will also be listing some other Brewers Memorabalia that night.
