    Add me to the list that thinks Jennings has basically sucked and had one decent season. If we can dump Clark's salary on the rockies, lets do it for whatever but giving them Zach Jack and clark for Jennings is Loose.

    If the brewers do intend to move Hall to the outfield, they need to get rid of Mench and Jenkins. Lopez had some pretty good seasons and is coming off a horrible year. If we did pick him up, Im sure Maddux could figure him out and he would probably bounce back. If there is one thing that Melvin is good at, it has been finding cheap pitching.

    Looking at his career stats, Drew looks like an expensive version of Geoff Jenkins. He is injury prone, hit over 30 home runs once and hit over .300 once, has struck out more than 100 times in a season a couple of times. Drew walks, which is nice. Carlos Lee is superior to Drew in basically every way. I wouldnt want the Crew to give Drew even 3yr/33mil dollar deal right now. no thank you.

    There was a lot of talk around trade time the Crew could manage to pick up Maddux. I was wondering if there is any thinking the brewers would go after him in free agency this off season. I still think he would help our rotation and be a leader to our younger pitchers. Sheets Capuano Maddux Bush Davis/Yo?

    Yes, Yes, I too am extremely upset at the fact we lost 2 of 3 to the Royals, however this is a young team and there is going to be ups and downs. Everyone has got to remember, We have been without 3 starting pitchers most of the season including our ace, we lost 8 games in a row, we are only a couple of games out of the wild card and our pitchers continue to get healthy and the youngsters continue to grow. We all need to take a deep breath. Lets all pray the Crew destroys Maddux tonight. Go Brewers!

    According to CBS sportline's website, that is the lineup. Good call Chris on being completely wrong. This is Week's debut, at least this year anyways.

    that was awesome. I remember the next day someone came to county stadium with a sign that said "Mike Matheny is the toughest man alive". I made the same sign for Jenks when he broke his ankle.

    The question shouldnt be "should we root against hardy?" That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. He is one of THE PROSPECTS. Lets hope and root that they all do well.
