  1. I just wanted to update anyone who might be interested. $150 or best offer on the bat. Again, this is a Geoff Jenkins brewers game used professional bat. It has a crack but is still in one piece. I had it autographed by Jenkins after a game in 2002.
  2. There are a lot of ups and downs in a full season. Last year we started 24-10 and look how that turned out.
  3. This is the first I have heard of this. How does this work? I am assuming you have to pay for each player individually for autographs?
  4. I have a black game used bat that has been signed in silver by Geoff Jenkins. It is Jenkins personal bat that is cracked. It is a louisville slugger C243 that has the major league baseball engraved stamp on the bat. It shows heavy game use. I had it signed at miller park during the 2002 season. PM if you have interest in the bat. Im not looking to break the bank here, dont be afraid to make an offer. If you are serious about the bat, PM me for photos.
  5. The brewers are terrible right now.
  6. I read some more about this on the brewers website. Has anyone ever tried the buffet before the game? How much was it?
  7. Im pretty certain someone would be able to help me out. My buddy got some really nice tickets to a series at Miller Park coming up in late July. With the tickets also came tickets to the Metavante Club (sp?). Come someone fill me in to what exactly this place is? I have been to Miller Park probably a hudred times but never stepped foot into the .300 club or this new one. Does they charge you for the food and beverages? Should we even go up there?
  8. bat is still for sale............make an offer.........
  9. Pictures have been sent to those who requested them.
  10. Thanks RickieWeeksJr. I agree. They are a completely reputable dealer.
  11. I was being sarcastic! Legends of the field is selling them for $249. That is where this bat is from, signed by Prince and it comes with their hologram and COA. Im not looking to break the bank on this one. I would be willing to sell it for $140 and that price includes shipping. Let me know, thanks.
  12. I was wondering at what level does Japanese ball transfer to MLB? Would it be considered like triple A level or right at the major league level? I dont want to make this into a Fukudome thread. Major league baseball is supposed to be the best players and most difficult baseball in the world. I guess I am wondering how Fukudome, someone who is a career .305 hitter and has averaged 29 home runs from 03-06 is going to translate to the majors. I am predicting .260's and 15-20 home runs.
  13. I would agree that Santo is terrible. Pat Hughes has to feel like he is babysitting during most of the games. The Brewers should write in Bill S.'s contract that he isnt allowed to do commercials. Nothing is worse than his horrible sense of humor during the Good Feet Store commercials. "maybe I could have hit .250, or not" Wow.
  14. well, this should make our division more exciting. Obviously, Baker made some mistakes his final season in Chicago, but Im sure he has learned from his mistakes.
  15. I am suprised by some of the things I am reading... Here is what will happen... *Braun will stay at 3rd base *Weeks will stay at 2nd base *LaPorta will not be in the majors in 08 (maybe a sept. callup) *Bush/Villy will not be the closer *Jenkins will not be back I personally do not want a Gross/Dillon platoon in left field. I would love if the crew could trade for a higher priced outfielder with a year left on his contract to fill the gap to 09 for LaPorta. I may take some heat for this, but I dont think championships are won with players like gross and dillon starting.
  16. One reason the Cubs have been doing so well is the fact they have Marmol, who basically gives up no runs and can pitch more than one inning if need be. We dont have anything close to a guy like that.
  17. I can never find it! Where is the brewerfan.net salary page?
  18. Guys, this has easily been my most favorite thread this entire season, and probably ever.
  19. pretty small sample right now but I like it. I will say that I like rickie leading off with Hart hitting #2. It feels strong...
  20. Not sure if anyone else caught Fielders post game interview in 08-11, but I was suprised how much he praised Graf for being the team veteran leader and telling the younger guys to step it up. He seemed to mention him like 3 or 4 times. (added tag --1992)
