  1. I personally think that Capuano would probably bring the most return but it will probably be vargas...
  2. Obviously the crew will have to make some room for Gallardo, Villy and possibly even Parra in the next years rotation. These guys are young, good and cheap. I would assume the crew will/could flip Bush, Vargas and even Capuano. Who do you think is most likely to be traded and what can the Brewers expect to get in return. I for one, would love it if the crew could trade away one of the above pitchers along with Gwynn Jr. and get a nice outfield bat in the place of Jenkins. Thoughts?
  3. Mark me down for someone who also would like to see a BIG bat traded for. Griffey or Dunn to the Brewers would probably be like adding Reggie White was to the Packers...
  4. Its probably for a reliever....
  5. pmpn 8 ez
  6. quick question.... Does anyone know who the guy is that sits like 3 rows back from the visitor's dugout? He must have season tickets because he is always in those seats. Is he a member here? He is the guy with the goatee and always heckels the visiting player after they strike out and I enjoy it. Thanks.
  7. Im with you Ajay, For some reason I am scared to see TBow at this point.
  8. Currently, where does the Brewers farm system in all of baseball? Are we still in great shape?
  9. I feel inbetween most of it. I too am sick of watching Jenks be at the plate and be down 0-2 after the first two pitches and then strike out on the 3rd pitch on a inside slider in the dirt. However, there is a part of me that remembers when I saw Jenks hit 5 homeruns in two days a couple of years ago. I enjoy watching his all-out, 120% style of play. I also havent forgot the year he made the all-star team and how special all of that was. I also remember what a class act he has been. unfortunately, it is probably his time to go. I do think he will have a pretty productive 2007. He will probably hit .280 and get around 25-28 homeruns. He'll strike out 150 times as well.
  10. Probably at about 20%. This is based off of mere speculation.
  11. I think instead of platooning Mench and Jenkins, we start Jenks in right, Hart in Left and Hall in center. Trade Mench for a decent reliever and a pitching prospect. Then pray that Jenkins can at least hit .250 against left handers. Jenkins has a lot to prove this upcoming season and it wouldnt suprise me if he has a much better 07 than 06.
  12. We arent going to have much to talk about around here when Suppan signs somewhere else. I beginning to think when we strike out on Suppan that we wont be getting much for Jenkins or Mench either.
  13. Or how about staying healthy?
  14. TYPICALLY, only completed deals go in the major league section. Suppan is only a rumor right now even though Melvin has confirmed the crew will make an offer to him. There is no reason to have the same topics going on in two different sections. Really, this section is more than just rumors anyways, and I think that is where you are getting hung up.
  15. Who exactly are you qouting here? Yourself? I just asked that people relax a little bit. I understand that people's opinions are going to vary about certain players. My point is however that there is little chance of Suppan signing to play in Milwaukee, so members here didnt need to argue with one another. If you are going to qoute me, qoute me. Dont just make something up.
  16. Everyone stop getting so upset with one another. WE ARENT GOING TO SIGN HIM. HE WILL SIGN ELSE WHERE FOR MORE MONEY. Rant over.
  17. I know we were all excited about finally hearing some brewer news but unfortunately guys, Suppan isnt going to sign with the Brewers and we all know this deep down inside. I hate to say it.
  18. the other benefit to signing him would be that we would no longer be looking for a starter for either Mench or Jenkins. We might be able to get a couple of nice relievers and some prospects. Get some. Pay the man. Mark A., open up the wallet.
  19. well, you can close the book on Roberts.
  20. toolivebrew: easy on the cussing bro.
