    I agree with you. Autographs are all about who is hot at the current time. Right now, the Brewers and Brewers legends are hot. In March, anything with a Favre autograph was a crazy price. I have a hard time caving during the "hot" times. If you love Prince Fielder, you should probably buy his stuff right now and not when he just got down hitting 50 home runs. Its hard me for me to spend $100 for Vuck when you can buy a Willie Mays signed sweet spot ROMLB on ebay for $100 with buy it now when it comes with a certificate from PSA or a Nolan Ryan signed sweet spot ROMLB from the nolan ryan foundation for $60 (currently on sale from $70). And I dont care how hard it is to get Vuck's autograph.

    Driving drunk is a serious problem and unfortunately most of the people who do it, dont think its a big deal. Its basically a game of the drunk vs. the cops. The drunk tries to sneak home and cop tries to hunt the drunk down. Unfortunately there are about 2000 drunk drivers for every cop. Something else to keep on the back burner....99.9% of the time when someone is on trial for a 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th,etc OWI the jury will have no idea of the prior offenses. The jury will think it is the person's first offense that way they are not automatically assuming the defendent is guilty. Some other quick information...60% of the all of the people that die in car wrecks are not seatbelted.

    I googled Macha and I have to say, I dont really like much of what I am reading. Most of the stuff is from right when he was fired in Oakland so that has a lot to do with it. It seems like there was a problem with communication to players and the front office. He did win a lot of games there though.

    I am excited to see what happens with Sveum but I really want to hear Melvin get an extension soon so we can get going on building off of the playoff experience.

    $1500 would probably be worth it. $4200 is crazy if you ask me. I would much rather go on a family vacation than sit in a bar with some old ball players who are being paid to hang out with you. That might change if it was Ted Williams, Mantle, Mays, etc. Not for Thomas, Cirillo, Cooper, etc.

    Have you been watching the post-season? Longoria is absolutely kiling the Red Sox. We'll see what he does against the Phillies in the W.S. so we can do an apples-to-apples comparison w/ Braun, but if he keeps this up, he will be a vastly superior player in the post-season while being similar in the regular season. That to me just doesnt factor in due to the incredibly small sample size. I would be willing to bet that Longoria has a sophmore slump much greater than Braun's (if Braun had one).

    I dont really understand why people would trade Braun for Longoria? Is it because of their respective positions? Braun's first year and Longoria's first years had almost the same AB's and Braun was far above what Longoria did in his first season. Longoria is good, but I dont think he will be or is as good as Braun. I could be biased though!

    I agree that it looks pretty cool, but unless that really means something to you personally, I wouldnt waste my time framing it. I think the paper would yellow over time and even if you frame it yourself, you are probably looking at spending over $100 for sure because it would have to a be a custom sized piece.

    The reason I "hang my hat" on brewerfan.net is because for the majority, the posters on here are smart and at the same time pretty reasonable. Im pretty certain that most on here know that CC and Sheets are gone. We may hope that CC signs with the Crew but we all know that CC will get blown away with cash from someone else. My offseason plan is one of the stars getting traded for a starting pitcher regardless.

    Im looking to add to my collection of signed baseballs. If you have some or just one you would like to sell, send me a pm with a description and price. I would prefer the ball be a rawlings official major league baseball (ROMLB) and signed on the sweetspot. It doesnt have to be only brewers as well. Thanks and let me know.

    Are you the judge and jury? Show me evidence Attanasio hasn't stepped in on a few crucial baseball decisions. I would if I was making claims against him! There is a lot of "talk" on here about how Mark A. stepped on Melvin's toes to sign Suppan, sign Gagne and fire Yost. This sounds like a lot of internet rumors to me. Im not saying that Mark A. is hands off or hands on. We read this from people as it is truth. Im not a follower. I am asking that people provide links or at least advise where they heard the types of claims if they are going to type it on here as fact. Also, this is America where you are innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around sweepscc.

    I love that people on here are saying that Mark A. is controlling everything and stepping on Melvin's toes. This is all talk. Lets see some evidence to back up these claims....

    Amen to bringing in the best available coach. We need the best available person for any jobwith the Brewers. This team has some serious boppers and we just made the playoffs. The core is still going to be here. I would think this would be a very sought after job.

    I know it, I know it. Im not proud of it. The main problem is, it is a lot easier to collect Packers memorabilia because of their countless number of legends, HOFer's and Champions. I am VERY big fan of the Brewers but lets face it, the Brew Crew just doesnt have too much.

    Thanks BHF! The pictures are from my office. My collection seems to grow and grow! Right now though, it seems to be about 70/30 Packers memorabilia to Brewers memorabilia. Until recently, most of my brewers stuff has been Paul and Robin.

The first photo are two 8x10's of Paul and Robin. Both have the UV glass and are double matted. The second photo is Ryan Braun's game used signed batting glove in a shadowbox. I bought the shadow box from Hobby Lobby and removed the normal glass and put in the UV glass. The bottom photo is a 16x20 of Robin. It also has the UV glass and is double matted. So people have some ideas on pricing when you do it yourself. The shadow box completed cost me $32. The Robin 16x20 double matted into an 18x24 piece was about $90. It still isnt cheap if you do things yourself. I use the museum or UV glass and acid free everything (matting, tape, foam backboard).

    This offense is brutal when Weeks, Hall and Cameron are all in the same lineup. Cameron I can deal with. Hall and Weeks are brutal. We need full time upgrades at 3rd and 2nd. Get it done.
