1.Capellan should have pitched the ninth yesterday, not Wise 2. If Turnbow was tired then why was he warming up? 3. Why not use Villanueva there over Capellan anyways?
Why is Capellan even in the game? This is stupid. It should have been Villanueva or Turnbow, but we all know Turnbow/Cordero can't pitch in a tie game.
Yeah it's just the one start. The pitching matchup is probably fairly even. Does Prince make it five straight games with a homer? Also, does Yost still keep Braun in the three-hole?
I'm pretty sure Obermueller took a perfecto into like the sixth inning that game against the Nats. That was what, like three or four years ago? I also support keeping Hart in the leadoff spot for the time being and seeing how that goes.
I took advantage of the bright side of being an unemployed college graduate and went to a Wednesday afternoon Brewers game. Considering that whole unemployed thing, it may not have been the wisest investment. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
I'd think hard about Yo for Swisher. He's awesome, just got an extension and is just entering his prime years. Obviously the A's aren't trading Swisher, just like the Brewers aren't trading Yo.
Corey Hart... in the lineup... against a RIGHTY? Did John Smoltz start throwing with his left hand? Did Tony Gwynn fall ill? There must be a just cause for this.
I distinctly remember Melvin saying at the time of the trade that they projected him as a #2 starter and he was the big prize of the entire deal. Kind of disappointing.
How Gross doesn't get an at-bat that inning is beyond me. He left in Mench... Jenkins should have stayed in the game for Mench, but after that didn't happen, Gross should have hit for him. Man alive.
