  1. McGehee has had some hard outs lately too. Hopefully he's at least out of his terrible stretch.
  2. Also, I didn't see Roenicke swear? Why would he get tossed then?
  3. Yeah, wow. That might be the most-watched homer I've ever seen. And it wasn't out by all that much.
  4. I'd rather have Ax's facial hair. Now this is crazy.
  5. I don't really think the Brewers have had to deal with too many injuries, as least compared to most teams. Greinke a month is the biggest loss, but when guys like Morgan and Saito are some of your biggest injuries, that's not too bad.
  6. Fangraphs has him as a pretty terrible defensive shortstop. I don't think he helps the Brewers much.
  7. Ha. Well to answer that question, I sure hope this isn't a statement game.
  8. He's been outstanding. He had a lot of skeptics who didn't think he'd be able to repeat last year's performance, but his numbers are extremely good. 12.35 Ks/9 makes his mediocre walk rate acceptable. The strikeout is such a huge weapon for him, and he's just about as good as there is in that department. In fact, Fangraphs has him as the seventh most valuable reliever in baseball so far. Aside from that hiccup to start the season, and that stretch about a month ago where he was allowing a ton of baserunners (and still getting saves), he's been dominant. He should be one of the Brewers' many All-Stars.
  9. If it's DiFelice, the Brewers are about to misuse another pitcher. He's best used as a setup-type reliever who's an ace against righties but shouldn't face lefties. Yet it sounds like they'll use him as a long reliever. Ugh.
  10. Hopefully it will be good. It's kind of lame that Paul DePodesta convinced them not to use his name.
  11. This is why it was stupid to take a stretched out Estrada and make him a reliever when they have a handful of capable relievers in AAA.
  12. How many more horrendous at bats will it take before the Brewers cut that scrub loose?
  13. I'm pretty sure the sentence, "He's our eighth-inning guy" was invented to get me to break things.
  14. It's just too bad that lately whenever the Brewers have a good team, they also have a terrible in-game manager. It makes for very stressful games.
  15. THE GUY IS ALL OVER THE PLACE AND YOU CALL A SAC BUNT ON THE FIRST PITCH
  16. I'm trying to remember if any other player approaching 3,000 hits got even close to this much coverage. The other day there was a link on ESPN's home page (not baseball page) called like "Jeter's 3,000 Watch" or something.
  17. Even if he's right in his belief that Braddock should only face lefties... What's so hard about having Hawkins and Braddock up, then bringing in Hawkins after Braddock faces Pena?
  18. Brother missed the game. Him: So what happened? Me: They got Roenicked. Him: Hmm... Kameron Loe against Carlos Pena? Awesome.
