    People are overreacting to a third of a season's worth of games. Goofy things happen in small sample sizes, and in all likelihood, things will head back toward the mean. One thing to consider that might be having an impact is they've played more bad teams at home than on the road.

    What on Earth is Wolf's problem with Lucroy? This is getting really annoying.

    Of all the managers they've had under Melvin, I'd take Macha with this pitching staff. The players didn't like him... Fine. That's not a good thing, but it's better to at least be competent during a game. The Kotsay thing is freakin' mind-boggling, as is his use of Loe, bunting, windmill approach in sending runners, hitting Gomez second for so long, playing Kotsay in center, and hardly using Counsell at all when his shortstop is horrendous.

    Wow, Jemile Weeks is having a great season so far in AAA. He has a .401 OBP.

    What a horrendous lineup. Betancourt, Nieves, Gomez is about the most pathetic group against Jimenez Roenicke could conjure up. Over/under on total bases for those three combined has to be 2.

    Names today make me nauseous... This makes me sound like an old guy, but I'm not. Variations of -aden (Aiden, Hayden, Cayden, Braden) along with several other names that really aren't names. "For girls, you take a random phoneme, add "ley" or "lin/lyn" at the end, and you have a name." And for boys, it's adding -er/-ar. It seems like there are more last names being used as first names than first names.

    I think we should be talking about a bigger upgrade than Punto. Rafael Furcal is coming back from injury, but he's been between a 2 and 4 WAR player for the last several years. He's due 13 mil, but the Dodgers with their financial situation would probably just about give him away. The key with him, though, is health, along with the hefty price tag. Jamey Carroll is also someone who'd be a big upgrade. Not sure of his availability. Or Ronny Cedeno, Marco Scutaro, Clint Barmes, or Tyler Greene (though STL wouldn't trade him to us).

    Just so people can't claim the complaints are results-based, I hate using Loe there. Hawkins was warmed up and ready to go. Why does Roenicke think Loe is some shutdown reliever? It's mind-boggling.

    I also thought it was amazing when they showed he has one hit to right field this year. Let's get some insurance runs here please...

    This has the making of a frustrating game. They've outplayed them. I know I'm late to the party, but my God... LA has Carroll and Miles hitting 1-2??

    I just don't understand why he's using Loe as some shut-down reliever when he's really only had about a half-season of success. He's burning him out and he was probably just average anyway.

    They probably don't need another reliever, but the next time they do it should be DiFelice.

    That was probably the best double play I've ever seen in person. Wow.

    I think the premise that someone would be lambasted for liking Gomez was a little off. It's not like the guy's Betancourt, and I don't think you'll find many who say Gomez shouldn't be on the team. It's that he shouldn't be batting second, and he shouldn't be playing full time against righties when Morgan's healthy. Center field is just about the only position that's a clear defensive strength on the entire team.

    This might be the earliest in the year a Brewers' season has become hilarious. At this point, I was legitimately hoping he'd throw a perfect game.

    They aren't a 3TO team. The Red Sox of recent years are a 3TO team. The Brewers don't draw enough walks.

    I've wanted McGehee to be traded for a season and a half. Not because he isn't a valuable player, but because he doesn't fit with a team that already has several offensive-oriented players.
