I know Gyorko played with these guys but he is way too friendly with them for my liking.

Look at the stiff that no hit this team. We can and really have made quite a few awful pitchers look great.

This team cannot afford to spend that kind of money on him imo. Maybe 2-3?? If Garcia is worth 10 then Braun is worth 100 million.

There were rumors that Brian Goodwin was the hitter they almost added at the deadline before losing out to the Reds. He’s been a -0.3 WAR player in the three weeks since joining the Reds, would’ve fit in well with that group. I didn't like hearing that at all.

Anderson has been solid. Yeah he was worth signing.

Gyorko was the only signing that wasn't a complete flop unless you count Phelps who pitched well and got us some prospects.

I would love to know how many times this team has gone at least the first three innings with no hits.

Too bad the Garcia contract was two years instead of one. I would rather have Sogard back next year than this guy.

I guess the question is can we get no hit twice in a 60 game season against underwhelming pitchers.

MLB gives that franchise all the breaks. Somehow they always get the extra draft pick for being a small market franchise when they aren't.

Stearns is going to have a lot of work to do this offseason regardless of what happens this weekend. We all have to hope he does far better than he did this last offseason.
