  1. Santana better not be useless in this series. I would have picked Brox over him. If Domingo is flailing away like he did against the Rockies, that removes his one positive over Brox. ...it was two at bats. (3 PA, he worked a walk). Jeesh. Not to mention "flailing away" could have described a number of players in that series.
  2. I couldn't agree more. I think this Brewers team is a bad match up for the Dodgers because of the way we use our pen. I think we have the edge in the pen, pitching as a whole, and defensively with our positioning. Their offense is deep and versatile. Ours is too but I think the Dodgers have an edge there. On top of that we are the hottest team in the game with home field advantage. I'm just not buying that the Dodgers are a huge favorite if one at all. Having said all that, the offense has to come to play. I think they will need to be significantly better than they were against Colorado and I'm not sure we can count on that.
  3. I agree and in general I think the board has built up the Dodgers as a whole a bit larger than they are. Still a very good team and a legit threat, but it's close.
  4. I am not getting overly amped about these wins right now because I feel they should win this series and are capable of much more. Game 163 had me amped up more than either of the two playoff games to this point. I am somewhat shocked by all the folks that used to take losses so hard it would affect their mood severely or for extended periods. When one sporting season ends I turn my attention to the next sporting season. Im pretty passionate about the Brewers, Packers and UNC Basketaball and one season just flows into the other. My oldest is forging himself a future in basketball and we always have something going on with that if I need any sort of reality check. I am definitely more emotionally attached to baseball and the Brewers than anything else. Of course the Brewers are also the one team that I follow at that level that hasn't won a championship. If they do win it, I'll cry like a baby and I have no qualms about that. If they don't, it will cut deeper this year than most but that won't last long.
  5. My quality on my computer isn’t doing hot...but looked like a strike. Meh, just an overreaction from me based on Barry Yelich acting like it was up I was thinking more Christian Bonds.
  6. With the ill advised throw yesterday, he's not having a great series.
  7. I'm not. It's October. I’m not sure Hader’s muscles or mechanics really care what month it is. Good.
