    Well ,Brewers last year and Cubs this year. That Cub offense reminds me an awful lot of the Brewer offense from last year.

    Additionally, they have some depth yet and acquiring a BP arm if needed isn't the hardest thing ever. I actually think they are well positioned to handle that situation.

    Its fun to think about this offense if Jackson starts doing what we all know he can do.

    The rotation was much deeper last year top to bottom and the bullpen was crazy good, both contributing to that success. Given a traditional five man rotation, 2 to 4 is the middle by definition. Being an upper mid rotation pitcher, well, I don''t think we are saying anything all that different but whatever.

    Because that is what an ace is. Just because there are 30 teams doesn't mean there are 30 aces and that doesn't mean some teams don't have more than one ace. Freddy is a good pitcher, no question. I just believe he is an upper tier mid-rotation starter. On team with a good rotation he'd be a 2/3. That doesn't make him a bad pitcher.

    He is what he is which is probably an upper end mid-rotation starter. He just is never going to be that guy.

    Well, it would be funny if that was what was being said but it isn't. The problem is not giving Contreras a day off, which he deserves, it's giving Adames, Contreras and Hoskins all the same day off, which seems like a poor decision.

    I do like that I don't feel like the game is over when the other team gets ahead. Big difference from last year.
