  1. Thanks to BA for praising Bryant then that happened.
  2. Davies pitching and fielding saves the inning. Half the ballpark with Cubbie fans is annoying especially when the Crew pitcher makes a fine play.
  3. Good thinking for Davies. Should be out and it is.
  4. Davies looking good so far. Now for the Crew to get it going against Darvish.
  5. Don't run on Pina. You think you are the only team with a great catcher's arm.
  6. Davies is no ace but he is a good pitcher who makes bad mistakes. I hope the Crew comes back and wins the home opener after doing so well in SD.
  7. Ha! They still haven't seen their relief pitcher yet this year. Red Sox lost Travis and that trade.
  8. Another double for Travis. Team leader again this year?
  9. This team is so much fun to watch. The new guys and Shaw will hit and get the runs in. Hader lights out. First place and now back home to Miller to keep it going.
  10. Ueck has been the best for a very long time now but I think the color analyst job would be a better fit now. He could tell us stories too. But I doubt he would agree. Hopefully he won't make anymore calls like this one
  11. Here we go! Now the Crew will make the playoffs with the moves made. Optimistic and happy baseball is back.
  12. Very good article and beautiful photo of Travis' little girl. https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2017/12/05/baby-daughter-out-hospital-brewers-travis-shaw-reflects-life-changing-year/920849001/
  13. ESPN is what it is. A sports network that is losing money and so-called experts who are probably afraid of losing their jobs. One of the great things about the past season is that the Brewers were in first place for a significant amount of time and surprised the experts. 2018 could be more of the same or even better. I look forward to the team proving the "experts" wrong again.
  14. Why can't players finally hit and field to the best of their ability and not have fans constantly say they will regress. I just don't get it. Why can't we applaud them for their accomplishments and not place the regression term on them. This place should be named the Milwaukee Brewer Regression thread. I thought it was the off-season plan for the Brewers thread. Rant over.
  15. I don't agree that some players had such a good year in 2017 that we shouldn't expect it to happen again. Why can't we accept that Stearns made good deals with those players and they like hitting in Miller Park and like being a member of the Brewers. Sometimes high priced free agents go somewhere and don't hit like they are expected to. They then just take the paycheck and ride the contract out. But give me a young player who finally feels comfortable to hit to his strengths and has a good year. That is what the Brewers found in a few players last year and I am happy Stearns brought them over.
  16. Of course they approved it. They are very lucky the Brewers were willing to give them such a deal.
