  1. Travis the walking man tonight. As long as he gets on base with those 3 walks is fine by me. I miss his tape measure homers though.
  2. Keon does not want to go back down. If he keeps it up CC will keep him around.
  3. I hope Travis is really good to go for the game. I think he is a ballplayer who is tough and wants to play. When he was hit in the head by a ball on second base he was only out a couple of days. I respect his toughness and hope he does well tonight to prove that he is okay because the team needs him.
  4. Not a good game by CC obviously but he needs a change in manpower and that is up to Stearns.
  5. Something has to be done with the bottom of the order. Stearns needs to get it done. Miller a good pickup especially today but not the answer.
  6. Broxton still can't hit. Excellent glove just like Arcia but not a major league hitter.
  7. A tie. Cain and Hader.
  8. Can Stearns swing a deal for that very good Miami catcher. That would fix things.
  9. Of all the Cards I dislike Molina the most followed closely by Pham. Why JJ why!
  10. Miller making himself at home. Jesus with his 50th rbi. Good start.
  11. He had his chance and CC finally had seen enough.
  12. Calling out some guys. I like it. Does he think the other guys aren't trying? I think his comment is ridiculous. Who are the 2 guys that everyone is relying on? Cain and Yelich? So Shaw and Jesus are relying on them as well? Ridiculous comment. Simple fact of the matter is that once we get past our #5 hitter, and some nights #6, we are screwed. When our 6 - 9 in the order are automatic outs, what do we expect? Eric Sogard should never, and I mean NEVER see another at bat in a major league uniform, yet we keep trotting him out there. Santana and Arcia NEED to be sent to AAA to figure some things out. They have nothing to offer this team offensively. I'm not saying to give up on them, but they need to get things right, and in a major league line-up isn't the place to do it. Sogard is a lost cause. Him I have completely given up on. Agreed. I would say four guys are the offense.
  13. Chacin has been such a great pickup. Good job by Stearns for signing him instead of an underachieving big contract pitcher. Two shutout wins and the Cubs go away.
  14. Great win by Ace Chase. The Crew needs him to get to the playoffs this year. Shutting out the Cubs at home is a very good thing.
  15. Ace Chase! Shaw with the RBIs. Bullpen does its job. Cubbie fans go home winless. Great game!
  16. Heres hoping Woodruff gets it done and stays in Milwaukee.
  17. Heres hoping Woodruff gets it done and stays in Milwaukee.
  18. The team again scoring runs in a blowout. This Phillies series comes at a good time. Yay for Choi and his slam!
  19. Wow, I just got home and checked the score and it's a blowout. Braun loves the park apparently. The Phillies starter must have been really bad. The Crew really needed a game like this.
  20. Corey gave us pause but got the job done. Another win.
  21. Jesus saves us one more time. Good thing Stearns kept him. Platoon with Thames because Jesus needs to play. If Thames falters then Jesus the everyday first baseman. He has earned it.
  22. Not sure about WS tickets just yet but this team will make the playoffs this year.
  23. You wouldn't think this offense would ever be shut out. Nice win with the rookie relievers doing well.
  24. There's hope for this game yet. No more Chase for the Mets today.
  25. The Crew hitters getting it done but Chase just can't hold the Mets in check. Frustrating game so far.
