From Todd Rosiak via Twitter: Brewers farm director Tom Flanagan says plan for Keston Hiura is DH initially at Wisconsin, with hopes to begin playing 2B in late August.
Im assuming the will move Bregman to SS, Gonzalez or Gurriel to 3B, and Aoki/Beltran/Fischer in LF. They are defintely thin, but they can coast to the finish line.
I wouldn't say stole by any stretch. Jimenez and Cease are very good prospects (probably understated). By the time their prospects are in the majors, the Royals and Tigers should be terrible.
*Hiura yes, Kiura is my poor attempt at a nickname. K Hiura = Kiura as in Kiura ("cure a") franchise of never winning a World Series I'll let it go My apologies
If by 2-3 years, you mean 2-3 days. But really, Cooper was in that Aguilar position where he was blocked at the ML level. It could hurt, but hopefully Gatewood will be up to make us forget about that Cooper guy.
Probably all in my head but I felt the freefall starting yesterday. Offense just hasn't been clutch these last couple games. Need someone to get the team going again.
Interesting question but I wonder if it is too late now, he has never seen a lefty pitch standing in the LH box since he was probably 10 years old or never. I wonder if there are any cases of MLB hitters giving it up I know Shane Victorino did for a bit, but that was because he had the same thumb issue as Braun.
Been watching this team for way too long to think that a 5.5 game division lead at the break means that the team is going to win the division. Doesn't help that there are at least 2 more talented teams in this division behind the Brewers
