Is it necessary to make a post about every perceived incorrect pitch called? Only the important ones... ump set up a big inning squeezing davies on bryant. Did it again here. People post to blast barnes... in this example tgats obtuse cuz the hr is on the ump 5 posts screaming at barnes... pop out k k k inning. My post has more merit than the screaming at barnes.

Huh? I didn't say it was an easy play, it was a tough play. It was however a makeable play, I simply said bad throw, which it was, and the play not being made has directly caused 2 runs to score. 2-0 bryant vs 0-2 bryant caused this... ump screwed davies into a corner

And if not hurt... the injury threw off his mechanics and he hasn't got them back. Either way something is wrong. Not at all broken up about it. Nelson is legit... Anderson legit... davies has been a 3.68 era since april 25. Suter... stunned but he's earned a spot...garza is a solid 5 this year... woodruff on the horizon. Hoping guerra can get right and take espino's junk long man spot in the pen. Hader a leverage long/weapon arm Guerra a innings eater long Shapes up real well for keeping the pen fresh next year. -
I agree with this and also feel this will be the case in 2018. Nelson anderson davies garza 5 mil option and until they prove otherwise Suter and Woodruff are the 1st two to get the last spot. I'm extremely pro hader but hes now gone 3 ip twice at 50 pitches both times. It looks unlikely he'd get a 7th inning. More like 5-6 regularly. Many have pointed to his lack of quality non fastball pitches... at least for strikes. He doesn't appear to me to be a rotation guy yet. He probably wouldnt gain from experience in CS. He already a weapon out of the pen. If down the stretch they start viewing this guy as our Andrew Miller... I'm perfectly ok with him there for the rest of the year and all of 2018 as well. High leverage... amp up his use. And by 2018... burnes ortiz get in the discussion. So until hader can get his control to ace level... i want him as a pen ace. It's not that uncommon.
