  1. Totally agree. I was hesitant to replace Chacin. It's going even more south as of late. 2 pitch mix in the pen sounds good to me. Nelson can not be ready soon enough.
  2. The umpire gave Chacin a gift against Stallings. Absolutely did. No argument here. He still strikes out that AB if that is a ball. Pitch 1 of the AB is not forcing in a run and extending an inning.
  3. Machines can't come soon enough. That was strike 3. 2 of the balls were clean strikes that were off target badly so Grandal couldn't frame them. The fact this game is decided by who can fool the guy behind the plate best is absurd. Not going to get that call because you've been wild is no excuse. It just explains why umpires are miserable at their job. They are not accurate, they assume.
  4. Fine and dandy but the SA numbers look awful too.
  5. 4.98 runs per 4.37 against Up to .61 and the offense is not the problem. Another solid start from a starter.
  6. Except for the ridiculous WHOOO birds. Wooo birds and "get in the hole" guy have a special place in hell. Isn't their an AIR BALL guy tonight or am I hearing him wrong?
  7. Correct. Albers is far from good but if a 4.5 ERA and a lefty specialist can't finish 3 outs without giving up 6 runs something insane happened.
  8. yup, great night Cain. 3 hole Cain, interesting... interesting...
  9. I have a ton of faith in Burnes but I have this strange feeling that he should be on the Woodruff path. You know, the one where we think its now, but then it gets delayed and 2 year later he becomes the real thing.
  10. not yet, but I hope we do... pouring it on is a lot more fun that being poured on... Yeah after that base running error I thought it might be time for a retraction of that post. I retract it.
  11. Boy, that AB from Cain and his body language the whole AB. He's rough in it right now. Seems mentally feeling it too.
  12. If its Hiura its financial. No way the Brewers are making moves based on costs 4-5 years from now, just no way. We don’t even know if Hiura will even command enough to actually make that big of a cost difference down the road. That's probably true, but Hiura isn't the weakest link so if its him, what's the motivation?
  13. He pulled it towards RF. An agile 1b could have picked it but its still more on Hiura than Thames in my opinion. Not all on Hiura though. I'd go 3/4th to 2/3rds on Hiura.
  14. Where's this shaw report, I haven't seen it yet. NM found it. Yeesh. He hasn't been all that good in AAA. He's had hits in games where our pitchers got to their pitcher and guys like spang and saladino raked. I'm... good luck Travis.
  15. With Braun Gamel being capable of 30 between them. SS and CF being the non 30 HR positions.
