  1. Isn't Hill on a 18/1 next year? NM I see the 1 mil buyout.
  2. Come on man, Horst was a joke hire and now that he's not puking on himself he's getting labelled a genius. He's simply held his own. He's no genius. Giving up a 1st to get zero short term cap relief in going from Delly and Henson to Hill is nothing special. Mirotic for a million 2nds isn't either. This is an average GM doing average things. Not a dumb GM signing Plumlee for 12/5. Every informed buck fan has been begging our GM to sign guys like PatC and Lopez on cheap filler deals. Instead, we've watched Plums Snell Delly etc deals and that's an F- grade. Being a C looks much better than an F- but it doesn't make you a genius. DJ Wilson looking playable does not excuse the fact that he was selected ahead of John Collins and Jarrett Allen. The genius GM in on the Brewers, not the Bucks.
  3. Don't forget the arm bar by Gasol to get him the rebound on the non-shot clock TO. The offensive basket interference no call... another Saikam double dribble at the 3 point line not seen. ETC. The calls aren't going our way. I thought that was a Toronto home court thing... nope. Slant the court. Just sickening.
  4. Oh, don't you worry I took your share and I'm not close to done. 2 massive complaints of MKE. 1, why have they not realized you can't switch Lopez onto any shooter or guard? 2, why is every outlet pass brutally off target?
  5. I'd be nice to see a game where Gasol and Ibaka aren't allowed to arm bar rebounders without getting a single call. I oddly thought that since we had the MVP that we'd get calls our way like I was told happens, and I've seen happen, for years when MKE played against teams with stars. No, You can maul Giannis and can't touch Ibaka or Lowry. Frankly, this series has almost been as disgustingly officiated as the Saints Rams NFC championship where the side line ref rode the saints all game until he basically decided the game for the Rams. If you don't think ratings matter to these leagues, you are out of your mind. Clearly Drake and Canada vs the Warriors has been deemed the bigger draw. It's pretty sickening. Since game 3's start the refs have been 70-30 70-30 and 60-40 Toronto. Then they flop and whine link a Spanish soccer team, act like every call vs them is a travesty, and the refs have catered. Very few teams are good enough to overcome that vs high level competition.
  6. No - I'm talking about what he is right now. His stuff hasn't changed at all since being promoted from Carolina to Biloxi. With his current stuff and a modest uptick in command, he could help the Brewers later this year, if that's how they choose to use him. 6 innings (or now 10 innings) of data doesn't change that unless there's an underlying reason for a change in the data. As far as I can tell, any change in the data is just due to noise. That he struck out a few fewer guys his first two times out in the Southern League is a shrug. Rasmussen would probably be a usable low leverage reliever at the MLB level right now. Refinements over the next few months will dictate whether or not the Brewers decide to commit to him as a higher leverage reliever in MLB later this year. And I'm pausing on seeing him in MKE because every step has been less Ks and more lifted hits. GO/AO is now sub 1 and Ks are falling. Stuff is great, but Williams and Barnes have stuff. Every step up seems to make his stuff look less dominant.
  7. One more rehab start on the 28th and away we go.
  8. It's time to promote Turang and Fry. If you promote Feliciano to AA (and we should) Fry can get plenty of ABs at C and 1st in Carolina. I get Turang is young but Fry is a college kid but we've seen enough at A ball to see what the older prospect (Fry) can do climbing the ladder. You can't block him at 23 by 2 guys that are 20. He needs to step up to Caro and get challenged, he's old for his level.
  9. 9 innings to get the 3 back. Inept... Wrong pitch to Hiura there.
  10. 5 balls thames... brutal tonight. BRUTAL.
  11. Thames 3 AB have been momentum killers along with Brauns base stealing gaff. 0-3... 4 balls in each AB. 4 left on base.
  12. Him and Anderson both. Or we'll just pull him with no one on and blow our pen to bits. CC has seemingly sucked for a week.
  13. Fair enough PHNX This super long man role for Freddy might be a team saver. If he can come in and throw 5 zeros here... win or lose that save this team a lot of stress.
  14. You said...from the Keston thread... "At what point do we send Hiura down and bring Dubon up? Three games is three games!" Are you trying to be a professional counter-point or are you just bi-polar?
  15. He either needs to stop swinging at that pitch or lessen the leg kick. Period. He can't hit FBs above the strike zone. And don't get why so many of our minor league guys come up with that exaggerated front leg lift. Arcia has it to a degree Phillips had it Brinson had it to a degree. You get away with it in the minors because most of the throwers down there are 90% fastball. When you get to the bigs most decent pictures can control speed and location. Not sure but I won't go as far as Brinson and Phillips. Hiura's contact tool is way better than both of them. He's holding himself back though.
  16. He either needs to stop swinging at that pitch or lessen the leg kick. Period. He can't hit FBs above the strike zone. Hole in swing.
  17. Yeah, the crew didn't do a good job of holding my interest.
  18. I'm happy with his framing, I'd just prefer him not to try to frame something that's looking like its going to bounce.
  19. Hiura's bat is quick as hell but he really needs to lay off the high fastballs with that leg kick. Kudoz to Gamel for at swinging at strikes.
  20. We've seen his discipline ebb and wane over the last 3 years often. He's playing real well so a self induced slump was due.
  21. 4 of 5 to Braun were balls Thames grounds out on ball 4 Great start guys, way to let him settle in.
  22. Get Peralta warming up. Not immediately but this isn't going more than 4 IP.
